I am a straight forward man, so I will get right to the point. I have heard of your problems as of late and would like to offer you what ever subtle aid I can.

I do this because you are a seasoned hunter you from what I see and hear are one of, if not the best hunter on these forums.

That is exactly what I need.

A hunter who can slay a vampire worthy of your experience, strength, and skill.

I and but a scholar who has the unforunate luck of having to deal with such a creature. The monster is in possession of a holy relic, an act of blasphemy that I can not allow, so I will need your help.

Normally, I would not ask for assistance, but this one is ruthless and has bested many slayers sent after it over the years.

If money is what you need, name your price. If weapons and supplies are what you need, it will be provided.

If not for your conviction alone to stop these abominations, and your reputation for success, I would not have bothered you.

Do we have a deal then?

With it the fiend will become immune to daylight. The creature will be all unstoppable.

On Feb 08 Dele Morte wrote:I am surprised that you are passing up the opportunity to slay a one of the undead Mr. Caliburn. This beast slayed an entire familiy, fed on the blood of the innocent, and is now in the possession of a relic that makes it even more dangerous.

Whose hands the artifact will be in will be mine, where it will be out of the hands of vampires who desire its power.

I am offering you a sum of $10,000,000 to slay this vampire when I go to retrieve the relic.

Mr. Caliburn, you are a the best or I would be approaching you. This fiend must be put to death, and I need you aid to do it.

Consider my offer.

On Feb 08 Dele Morte wrote:I have been reading up on your current situation, it sounds as though the "rogue" slayer you are dealing with and his prey fit oe of two posible scenarios;

1) the vampire killed a loved one of the slayer, so now the slayer is seeking revenge. Cold, remorseless, no cares fr anyone or anything other than revenge.

2) the vampire and slayer are related somehw, probaly close to one another, now one must take down theother before someone like you per say intevenes. Making this a deeply personal matter.

There is a darker 3rd scenario which I am hoping is not the case;
the slayer and vampire are in league with on another to flush you out. If that is the case, you may need my help. I offer it freely, and despite what the druid may think of me, humanity must come first.

Over the years I have acquied many tools, weapons, spells, and knowledge in regards to the supernatural and how to best lay waste to them.

I will help you if you so need it, all I ask in return is your aid in slaying this vampire that has the Arow of Uriel.

My plan on destroying this creature is simple. I will arrange a meeting with the beast, when it shows, you kill it, and I retrieve the relic.

Do we have a deal Mr. Caliburn, for I hate to have to deal with a rank ameteur on this particular matter.

These are the highlights of an exchange I've had with Del Merde there.

Obviously he is focused on retrieving the arrow (as well as walking yours truely into a probable trap).

I think it is in our best interests to find out what the arrow is, where it is, and how to retrieve it first.

I focused on other things too much.
Kolya and I just wondered at the same time - who is with Molly (and the small farm Holister keeps)?

I get the impression she's under guard at this point. Who and how I won't say.

Understood.

That's all we need to know...

One of the major down sides to doing what we do is our families become targets. But I made arrangements to check on Molly she is safe at the moment, and if I have anything to say about it she will stay that way.

My family is safe from anything short of an artillery strike . . . even then if they have enough warning they will probably be okay.

Which in my particular case is both a good thing and a bad thing.

After last night, I have fewer worries about my family... My wife doesn't take crap from anyone or anything, for any reason, and woe be anyone who pisses her off.

When she gets that grin on her face...well, just pray she isn't aiming it at you.

My team is my family. Nothing else matters, if it comes down to that choice.

Well, with Del Medre out of the way, perhaps we can figure out what this arrow is and why he wanted it.

As soon as we get this code out of the way, Natasha will have some bandwidth to help out...

Well Ron, now that I'm done with KT I'll come down and help. Just let me rest up today, I don't know what broke in me last night but it still hurts.

Sure. I'm getting close to that vampire, I'll probably get a shot at her tonight or the next.
