The Cult of Hela

Post by DarKnyht »

The events of the past few days that I have described, plus a few additional events that happened last night and this morning have convinced me that I need to relate as much as I discovered in case my luck runs out.

I have done extensive research over the past week into the cult's possible activities using the information I over heard while being caught by them. Basically I have look for unsolved disappearances that have taken place over the past months, and slowly started plotting them on a map of the region. this process led me to find three locations that the majority of the disappearances center around.

The first is Fly, Ohio, a small town along the Ohio River, the second is Thurmond, West Virginia, and the third is Rough Run, WV. All are small communities and both have recently have had a new company come into the area, Helvegr Industries. It seems the corporate headquarters for the company is the Thurmond location. Further linking the company to the cult is that the one of the men that were involved in the summoning is the brother of one of the founding members of the company.

The Rough Run, WV location seems to be the smallest of the three locations as it is basically a logging company that was bought by the corporation. Unfortunately, that is all the further I have gotten in my research. All of the web information I could find is out of date and it was only through newspaper archives that I found out about Welvger Industries being established. Whoever is behind them is working hard to remove information from public knowledge as one online article I came across regarding them vanished shortly before the incident with the van.

Hopefully I will uncover more in the next few days. I am not going to be posting my next move as I am sure that they are watching my communications at this point. Whoever they are, they seem to definitely have supernatural help and I am beginning to believe professional human help.

To my unknown benefactor that contacted me, thank you. Your timely warning saved my life. I would be interested in meeting if it is at all possible.

I met up with the man who saved my life over the weekend. He and his team, which to my surprise now includes Terra, have also been on the trail of the cult, although for different reasons. His sister's son was among those taken by them. It appears that the problems I was having in Pittsburgh was due to a demon and his gremlin minions. Unfortunately, they are currently still there and I plan on eventually heading back to the area to take care of them.

He also used the information I posted here to raid the Helvegr Industries office building in Fly, Ohio. Inside they found schematics on the general manager's computer that points to Thurmond, WV being the source. There is an abandoned mine there that has been reopened and tunnels into a nearby mountain. Inside the mountain is what appears to be a 10 floor compound that is where the new temple of Hela is.

At this point, I have handed over all of my research to them and I am not pursuing the cult anymore. They are much better equipped than I am, and seem to be much better able to deal with the problems.

Glad to have heard from you again, and that you have some folks watching your back.

Thanks, I try to at least check in when I can, but internet access has been spotty where I am at currently. The experiences over the past few weeks have left me homeless and near broke. Until the police finalize their report on the fire I will not be seeing any reimbursement for my loses as of late. Since I have left dealing with the cult to those better equipped, I have moved on to take care of some personal matters.

I am staying with an old family friend. I am trying to keep in mind that things will be better once the insurance company pays out for the vehicle and it's contents. But as anyone who has had similar happen knows, having to make the payments on something that you no longer have is very depressing.

Ouch. Well, as long as you have a roof over your head things can only get better.

One can hope. I am a little concerned though that I have not heard anything from Terra. They should have been able to check in by now.
