Holding our breath...

Man, this place has been jumping all day long... Now all of a sudden, it's like the entire society collectively held its breath, waiting for Shepard to make his response...
Guys, I won't BS you on this. This is, by far, the biggest thing I've ever had to think about taking on. I'd rather be taking on an army of Dybbuks, naked, armed with a spoon, than doing what I'm going to be doing up there.
Not because I'm afraid it'll kill me... I'm afraid for those around me. Not only those who're going with me, but my family, Ben's family, and Ben himself...
I don't want to be facing a friend.
I don't want to be facing a friend...
Goddammit, how'd all this get so damned fucked up? Where did this shit go wrong...?
...Ron, no blaming yourself. You didn't make Shepard in any way, shape, or form, and you couldn't've seen any of this coming. Have you bought that plane ticket, yet?
...eh. Sorry, I can't stand this silence any longer...

I hear ya KT. Although if I was facing a Dybbuk Army I'd demand a Spork at least. A Titanium Spork.

If I could just avoid having to face Ben, I'd do it with a plastic butterknife, and do it gladly...

Best I've got is facing down an army of zombies with boffer weapons...
but it was a small army... more of a squad, really... and my friend did end up ripping the padding off of his arrows... and I definitely wasn't naked.
And I did end up running away...

Man, I wish that was an option in this case...
"Brave Sir KT bravely ran away..."
'Cept then my name sounds like "Katie"...

And any nuclear nuts will think we're calling you Sir Kiloton.

This waiting is killing me...
So, about the spirit in my wife's doll... What's everyone's take on it? First off, does this make the doll inhabited, possessed, or possessing a spirit, herself?
All I know is that no matter what, I think the spirit came with the doll.
Despite being made of plastic resin, her facial expression seems to take on subtle differences without moving...giving her the seeming emotional range between cold and pissed off to calm and serene.
And my wife swore she was hearing the doll's voice in her head since day 1.
So what's everyone's take on that?

...Except that about a week ago, now, she saved my life. She's been in our home since last November or so, and aside from the fact that my wife paid an arm and a leg to get her, I took little note of it.
She's caught my attention a few times here and there, but she's done nothing malevolent, and when she and our baby are in the same room, she damned near looks happy.
She's arrogant and stuck-up, but not malevolent.

The place have been decided. The guests have been invited. I hope you have made peace with your pagan gods druid. You will be joining them soon enough. If you do live through this, at least have the decency to look his daughter in the eyes when you kill him. You know what Im talking about druid. Don't disappoint me not showing.
