The Family has recently been involved in an altercation with another organization. This would not be unusual other than this - of the 3 men we captured, 2 do not remember anything from 1 month prior to 12 hours after capture. 1 man bit his tongue off in order to avoid talking (if we hadn't been quick to cauterize the injury it is likely he would have bled to death), this man however has a tattoo on his torso (full wrap and well inked - the same quality as my sleeves) that depicts a demon destroying a catholic church. (It would be nice if their leadership didn't seem quite so good at melting away)

Since this has do do with business I completely understand if some of you cannot bring yourselves to help.

Were any members of the organization you went up against using any paranormal abilities?

Depends on how you define supernatural.

A trained kunoichi team (some of the best in the world at stealth and deception) Follows 5 men to a room with 1 entrance, no windows no ventilation. They never leave the door unguarded. When the strike team arrives to eliminate the targets the room is empty (not even anyone invisible). After purchasing the building and having that room completely disassembled to try to find a lead on where they went, there were no hidden vents, no concealed doors, no hidden elevators, ect. (made a nice meeting area afterward though - the bordering rooms are now missing a wall each, and the spacious feeling of a room that reaches up 3 stories can be capitalized on somehow i am sure)


Not sure if it counts as supernatural, but not even our best investigators, and architacts can figure out how they escaped. - the men we captured are a part of the same organization. (we have also determined that the amnesiacs are not lying - love how much science improves the art of getting answers)

Then they must have never been in there in the first place.

That holds to logic. The only problem is that one of the kunoichi is "gifted". She stated that they were there for the entire time - but then not there when the strike team came down the hall. (she is still undergoing some "re-adjustment" so that she can have faith in and again use her abilities)

Well, something odd even by our standards must have happened. Either they ghosted out or they found a way to fool your tracker.

Yea, it sounds definitely like teleportation to me.

Either some other location on Earth, or something like a dimensional door.
