Greetings all

Hello all, I've just discovered this wonderful website and thought i'd introduce myself. Of course i'm also offering my services to all and sundry, always happy to help.

I'm a freelance troubleshooter (don't we all just love titles in this field?) operating mainly in southern ontario. I used to travel quite a bit as a reporter but i'm afraid it's become a bit of a strain in recent years thanks to a nasty little demon I crossed paths with.

But if anyone's in the area and needs some back up or just sanctuary don't hesitate to call on Doc Boggs.

Welcome aboard! You may find that once you get involved here, you start travelling a lot more than you intended.

Ah, well. Not that I'm complaining.

Hi Doctor Nic . . . er Boggs.

So just what are you a Doctor off?

Having a few skilled folks around is always useful - though I get worried when some of the eggheads focus too much on taming things and not enough on protecting us from them.

It is just better not to keep suppies chained up in your garage and have me find out about it.

Hmmm, well thanks all for the warm reception. Ah, the doctor thing, not medical i'm afraid. Before I got into the 'field' I was a completely average reporter. When I got into the family business, a fun story that, I found myself specializing in exorcisms. Usually it was just those damned possessing entities, not full fledged demons but I had a grudge against the things. Developed a reputation for it amongst folks I knew and they just started referring to me that way. Eventually I just went with it.

And nope, I don't keep any beasties in the garage or any other part of my property. Oh, just for clarification the 'family business' was the mystic arts. Feh, enough about me, I need to get to know my fellow board members.

I for one hope it has nothing to do with probes, but I appreciate the welcome all the same.

Probee is short for Probational. It's a common LEO equivalent to Noob.

Though in some departments I'm sure that the probing comments may be appropriate.

It took me 7 seconds to figure out what LEO was...

I've seen LEO tossed around for weeks, and I still haven't figured it out... Yay for waist-length blond hair!

Mullets seem to be becoming fashionable in Russia.

I've seen some very successful mullets with long blonde hair... only not on the guy.

So if I wanted a taste of Russian culture Ild just have to go down to West virginia for the week. *-)

Details?

Ah heck, I knew I forgot something! I like the term 'troubleshooter' for myself. Partly because we all know there's no real job description for fighting the supernatural, but also because no matter how much magic i've learned over the years I always try shooting things first.

If a 9mm won't put it down then i'll pull out the spellbook but relying on magic has burned me before. I actually let a Raksasha trick me into thinking it was a 'relatively' harmless possessed human once and got tossed out a third story window for my trouble.

So now i'm all about research and EXTREME caution but I still dedicate myself to the fight. I've never taken an apprentice, they all seemed to eager, but maybe one day.

Oh it's been ten years since the window incident and I still haven't tracked the bugger down, so if anyone catches rumors of one of those critters maybe they could let me know?
