Need verification

I need someone with contacts and connections to either verify or deny the existence of ghosts on Cuba Road in Barrington, IL. My wife and I have heard a great many rumors and stories, and have disproved many of them... Nevertheless, there are still a lot of stories we haven't disproved, and we have both experienced seemingly paranormal events, both while we were together and when each of us have gone there alone.
I'm asking for a lot of different bits of information, here...
First, can someone verify whether or not someone has, in fact, died on that road in an automobile accident, caused by his tailgating someone else. If there was, can someone please tell me which of the multitude of stories I've heard surrounding this "ghost car" are true? I've heard that it was a man who was late getting home, and was tailgating the car in front of him out of frustration... I've also heard that he had ties with the mafia, and was being chased by police at the time, and the car in front of him was trying to help the police. There're other stories I've heard, but those two seem the most likely to me...
Second, there's supposed to be several side-streets off of Cuba Road, both east and west of 59, where one can supposedly see mafia members, re-enacting a shootout with police and getting killed, one by one. Some rumors say that they don't like visitors, and can turn hostile, though the same rumors admit that the people they start attacking are never physically injured. I have my own theories on *that*... If it helps anyone's research, the most famous of these sidestreets, and the only one where my paranormal senses told me that something was out there, was Rainbow Road, a residential neighborhood that runs north from Cuba Road, east of 59. Possibly east of 12, it's been a while since I've been out that way...
If anyone can verify any of that, I'd really appreciate it. It's nothing majorly or earthshatteringly important, but it is something I'm interested in.
