I mentioned recently we were gearing up to take down a mage. The operation has been completed, but we uncovered something bigger than we ever imagined... Here are the details that are not classified.

It was much harder than any of us anticipated. Since the encounter with the mad mage I have been having memories mixing. For example, this morning I recalled a recent conversation with a friend at the firing range, however, when I recalled it we were having the conversation in a pub that we have visit from time to time. Setting and details are separating and merging at strange points. Speaking honestly, I don't know what the hell is happening to me.

I cannot give any operational details, but the mage has been dealt with. Undercover officers were following him as he made a phone call on his mobile phone. He was headed for a busy subway station where he stopped to talk to a hooker. She went with him to his apartment building, but we caught up with him in the hallway.

The hooker is one of those girls that you can order online, but what was strange was that she looked quite like the girl in her online profile looked, which I've been told is uncommon. Another common story: she is a provincial girl who comes to the big city in order to make some money because there is nothing at home for her. She wants to be a hairdresser and she told me that she was going to stop hooking. I find that unlikely, especially for a girl caught up in organised prostitution. Those cops are swamped.

I doubt that she realises what situation she had just been removed from. The mage's first victim was found skinned and missing her lower jaw. The skin and jaw have yet to be recovered. We hope to uncover those and possibly more information with a thorough search of all the evidence. Some of the team thinks that there could be as many as five other bodies mutilated in very strange ways that neither we nor the cops know about yet.

We know he lived in Canada for about 10 years and eventually returned because his political asylum claim was denied when he failed to appear at his hearing and later arrested on a gun related charge. The Canadians deported him, surprisingly fast. Perhaps our Canadian friends will be able to provide some more assistance in the meantime while we dig for more information here. Let me know, I can PM you the information.
