This is sort of a simple puzzle and I'm curious who can decode it.

First individual sends:

Eight Diamonds, Queen Hearts, Seven Hearts, Eight Spades, Seven Spades, Four Clubs, Eight Clubs

The second individual responds with:

Nine Clubs, Ten Diamonds, Nine Diamonds, Six Spades, Five Spades, Ace Diamonds, Five Hearts

The first individual then sends:

OJPLFWIOGZMIJBCGLFYVOZPJRVVWVFJTMXATUAXG

The second individual ends the conversation with:

VIXMWUWAIHYEJWMESXQBVNVXNKCV

What was said by each?

Something for me to puzzle over for a bit during my next debridement.

It looks like a variation of a substitution code, I'll have to see how hard it is to come up with a working key.

I think I may have figured it out partially. Enough to test a premise later this weekend, anyway.
