Over the years, large cats, such as panthers, have been spotted from Michigan to England. Are these exotic pets kept by wealthy owners that happen to escape? Or is it possible that there are secret doorways, perhaps forgotten, where these animals are accidentally sent from their home to another part of the world, exiting through another doorway?

Or is this part of the conspiracy? Another secret known only to a shadowy few.

Is it possible someone knows about these places? What do you think?

Maybe, according to some of the stuff I read by Victor Lazlo, they could even be from another time... but that's a pretty wild chance and I wouldn't want to heavily endorse that theory. If I were you, I'd be very cautious about messing with that dimensional stuff. God only knows what could happen to you, where things come from or where you could end up if you happened on one without realizing it. Another possibility is that these could be were-things.

I have to agree with Geronimus.

One, the Dimensional Door theory seems pretty far fetched.

Two, if such doorways did exist, at places like Stone Henge for example, messing with dimensional stuff is very dangerous. Don't mess with shit you don't understand. In fact, I read someplace that Victor Lazlo may have been swept away by dimensional forces and that's why nobody can find him. Has anyone else heard that theory?

BTW if you haven't read any books by Victor Lazlo, track them down, they rock. I've read them all. Thought provoking stuff.

Psi Phi here, for those that don't know me I'm the one who built Silhouette's 'secure connection'. I also wind up being stuck doing most
of the research around here. I was installing a few new security routines after this morning's incident, and stumbled upon these messages. My research has uncovered a theory that might explain what your talking
about:

Throughout history there have been many cults and religions that have worshipped cats as being divine, or semi-divine.

He supposed in his stories that felines lived other lives in their sleep, and that to them their time awake was actually the equivilent of sleep. Explaining in a non-scientific fashion their very low activity cycle.

"HP" combined his writings into a gigantic mythos which has been borrowed from liberally by writers almost since it's inception. He insisted until his dying day that it was all false, although he admitted to drawing heavily from various mythological souces. The Babylonian legends about "Tiamat" being highly influential in the creation of his "Great Old Ones".

It is interesting to note that the idea of the "Dreamlands" is in many respects similar to ancient aboriginal beliefs in a "Dreamtime", as well as the current occult/new age research into something called "The Dreamstream".

According to all of these beliefs "dream worlds" are usually visited in mind only, but it is possible to go there physically. Perhaps some cats occasionally enter the "Dreamtime" physically and then exit in other locations causing them to migrate to odd areas.

Of course all of this is totally out of context with why I was looking into dream world beliefs to begin with.

I have encountered over the years several entities that seem to have stepped directly out of the Old Gent's tales...either he was some sort of channeller, and was writing truth when he thought he thought it was fiction, or his very act of writing gave them birth...

That guy looking into the red rain dimensional intersection stuff once talked to me for an hour and a half about this stuff. I do not remember a word of it, except the part about they can open up hundreds of meter above or below the surface.

I would never run through one anyay, but I did have vidid images of me falling to my death.
