What is so dang bad bout turnin' 40. Shoot, last person who said I was gettin' old I turned my gun around and asked em' "nicely" to get the heck out of my office.

I fail to see what is so terrible about turning 40.

If you feel old because of some silly number, ignore the number and listen to what your body tells you.

If you feel old because of the relative age of you and your comrades - spend some time with YOUR elders.

If you feel old due to the changes that the world has made in your lifetime, well when I find a solution to that one I'll share it - although living a simple life in a remote place does help a little.


And remember, 40 is such a SMALL number...... and comes so early in life. Most people have barely begun to know themselves at 40.
