Up Late

Sorry I didn't post this in the morning. See, I was up all night with Mama in the hospital.

She had fraternal twins, one boy and one girl. Their names are Anna and Arthur. Mother and new borns are healthy and happy. Thats what Mama claims anyway. I don't know how she can tell. They mostly just poop.

I was fortunate enough to catch an express just in time to get back to New York for the delivery.

Anna and Arthur are doing quite well. Darcy is tired, but I think that the smile on her face may be a permanent (and welcome) addition. Of course the fact that she hasn't had to deal the diapers yet might contribute to keeping that smile there.

Hopefully we can locate Hannah soon so she can come and join us.

Sorry I didn't notice this sooner. I only just got back into town yesterday and things have been... busy.

Give Grace my regards, Ron. Congratulations to your family.

Thank you Melissa.

Hannah and Matt made it back late last night so Darcy ended up a little late and is sleeping in this morning. Hopefully me cooking breakfast won't make anyone ill.

Don't worry Papa. Us Grants come from hardy stock.

Yes we are.

Also I think the lunch I made may have neutralized any lingering effects of whatever it was Dad called breakfast.

Anyway, the word is in, little Anna and Arthur are the cutest Grant babies since me.

My most sincere congratulations to the whole Grant family!!!

Better be careful, twins are a handful.

On another note, I am glad you are going with the Grant name. Had you named your son Arthur Caliburn, I would have never let you live it down.

Thank you, and if they are anything like their older siblings know I have got my work cut out for me.

Hopefully I've learned something along the way.
