The Conspiracy

I have seen it mentioned once or twice here, but never heard of it. So... what's the Conspiracy?
heh, that depends on who ya ask.
In general terms, the Conspiracy is a widely beleived (in America anyway) secret government after an agenda that directly infringes on American democratic rights and freedoms. Depending on who's telling the story the Conspiracy either controls or influences the government, the military, the media, law enforcement and the boy scouts.
The Conspiracy has also occasionally been tied to external threats including aliens, the devil, communism and the united Nations.
Since the conspiracy is so secretive all stories, or none of the stories about them might be true.
