My perceived gloominess is clearly the result of an elaborate smear campaign against me by my adversaries and sometimes friends.

The perk of being freelance is unless I'm booked, I set my own hours. As it stands though, just let me know when - barring bad things on the 13th.

It's not a date. It's friends going for food - though dates might be invited. Along the line, something will probably blow up or someone will die. Trouble will ensue, hopefully we survive, we all get a good laugh and call it a night.

Although I was operating under the assumption that SO's would be involved.
Just because only two people are openly discussing arrangements doesn't mean only two people are involved.
Not that I think it would be wrong or inappropriate to arrange to meet any friend of mine for dinner or similar activities.
Hopefully people will choose to give us the benefit of the doubt rather than jump to unsavory conclusions.

What actually surprised me the most was that Cyber and Mel seemed to be on such good terms.

She's been pretty busy, no ifs ands or buts about it. She should get out and have fun more though.
