I'm apparently doing lunch with my father. It probably won't happen again until next leap year, so let's hope it goes well.

And anyway, I wish I could get apprehensive before meeting my father for lunch. So yeah, I guess what I'm saying is make the most of it while you can. If you want to rake him over the coals, do it. If you want to find some peace with the man, do that. If you want him out of your life, do that but be sure first.

Too bad I've had classes today. At least I manged to have breakfast with a friend before she went off on her grand adventure.

that right it is leap year, today would have been my fathers birth day. I miss you dad I hope they have a shot of Rye for you today

I accomplished twice as much work as I did on February 29th of last year. Next year, I might double it again, if I feel ambitious.

I had a swell gig in this dive near Union Square. A lot of leapbabies about. So of course we recited that bit from Pirates of Penzance ("When you left our pirate fold") about the main character being only five years old, and thus, still an indentured pirate.

I try not to have lunch, or any meal for that matter, with my father. I'd be too tempted to ram a utensil into his jugular.
