So what are everyone's plans for this evening anyway?
I'm sure my dad will spend all night wandeing around the Blight trying to figure out which vampires are kids in costume and which vampires are looking for a fresh pint. Lucky for him the weather looks okay tonight.
Me, after the trick or treaters have left my building I'm going out to tour a few of the city's spookier spots. I'm hoping to get through tonight without an encounter with the Lord of Greenwood. While I'm sure the accomodation reached this summer will keep him out of my life, Samhain is the last day of the year he can appear in our world. So after tonight I don't have to worry about him again until Beltane.
Hannah.

After the trick or treaters are done for the night, I will meet with friends and we will have our Samhain ritual honoring our loved ones who have passed on here on my farm. Then we will go back into my home for a meal. Afterwards I will curl up with a good book and a nice cup of hot tea.
Hannah, I hope indeed that The Lord of the Greenwood remains out of your life. I've been reading some of what you have been through. You are a very strong and remarkable woman. While I know a small bit about the fey, I have never had any direct dealings with them. I deal mostly with the spirits of the dead and in helping those who are earthbound finding their way across the veil if that is what they wish.
Just a hometown visit

I’m in my old hometown again. Everyone still stares at me. The Gingerbread House probably won’t be there tonight—hasn’t been for the past nine years—but it’s better to be safe. The legend says it comes every ten years.
The legend hasn’t been completely correct on several accounts, though.

Rowan, be safe and I hope it never reappears.

Thank you danorviel.
Rowan, I'm sure there are folks around here who would love to be there next fall, some for curiosity, a few because they want to see how well a gingerbread house can burn.
Hannah.
Maybe we can do something more—when we know and trust each o

The Gingerbread House Legends say it’s already been burned once—long ago. But I wouldn’t mind trying it again.
My apologies if this constitutes taking over your message, danorviel.

Hannah, you're welcome. Unwanted attention from any source is never a good thing.
Rowan, no need to apologize. I am always happy to talk to people.

Hannah - as always, you know how to reach me if something happens - or if you're really bored I suppose.
Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but people on this board are good at drawing trouble, it seems.
My neighborhood doesn't get trick or treaters really, except for hipster kids with too much time and a sweet tooth on their hands. Although I'm not a practicing witch in the religious sense, I've had far too many odd Halloweens to not do something for Samhain - I'm fairly certain my brother visited me last year, and he's been deceased for a decade.
For the most part though, barring catastrophe I'm leaning towards finding myself a nice watering hole and a quiet drink.

Well, it seems that my plans for the evening are over, for the most part. We had a few munchkins, but most seemed to have gone over to the school for the party there. My friends and I had a lovely ceremony honoring our loved ones, a pleasant meal, and they have all gone on to their own entertainments. I have my tea made, am selecting a book for the evening, and am watching "Ghost Hunters Halloween Live". Blessed Samhain to all.

As my Hallowe'ens go, it was pretty quiet. Not many trick or treaters around, so not many opportunities for something to grab one. My biggest effort of the night was working on getting Becky to re-evaluate her life choices.

Hello, Mr. Caliburn. I am glad your Halloween was relatively quiet. That is always a good thing.

Nothing to report from my hometown. The Gingerbread House never showed—again. However, I’m not complaining.
The bus ride to and back wasn’t too bad, either.

Rowan, I'm very happy your trip was uneventful.
