So... did anyone actually hear of anything interesting happening in their necks of the woods? Wish I had something to link from the five boroughs, but there was a distinct lack of anything interesting so far - though I did get a few lovely lists of restaurants to spend my last meal at that, after the fact, I'm inclined to try.

It's half cocked money grubbing wannabe prophets like those guys that make it all the harder to warn the populace that they need to be prepared in case things do go pear shaped.

I agree, entirely. That said, people will as people do, so I figured something odd - and probably unrelated - might have happened somewhere yesterday. You know, cults with their own twists, dodo sightings, etc.

Well the timeline has been revised. It's apparently going to happen on October 21st.

Go ahead and make it anyway. There's really no strong evidence to suggest the world is going to end on that date. You'd probably be safe if you wanted to make 88 costumes.

88 costumes? Most of us responsible adults stop trick or treating after about 40, I would have thought.
