An impossible task.

I have a task before me. One at which men have faild for longer than most of you can imagine. The beast I fought was no demon, but rather a Kyuuketsuki - or rather a tiny peice of the thing that empowers the kyuuketsuki of it's line.
I was a fool, I challenged it directly. It is strong and ancient beyond even my belief, it ignored me. I was arrogant, I forced it to acknowledge me. It was amused, it gave me a challenge - and a deadline.
In the very near future, I am going to need someone able to perform hypnosis. As well as those knowledgeable enough in magic and travel beyond the veil to help me make sense of these memories - I am certain they are the key to freeing not just Khavik, but every poor soul taken by the same pool of tainted blood and twisted dreams.
