Wie's Condition

Hello Everyone,

Wie was meditating last night like she always does when I heard her call out to me, saying she needed me. When I got to her she was unconcious and didn't respond when I tried to wake her.

We got her to the hospital but she's still out. Doctors are still running tests but she hasn't done anything but lay there.

I don't know what's going to happen next, but I thought I should let everyone know.

They have ruled out toxins? If so, she has demonstrated some psychic abilities before, maybe she is "astral projecting"? Also, check to see if she has any strange marks on the back of the neck, near the skull, my encounter has left me a little cautious about anyone with those kind of wounds. That was how the mindolar controlled us.

So far the tests haven't shown anything phsyically wrong - toxin, illness or injury.

The Doctors are still runnng test after test. Her body is sstill responding to reflexes and such, it's just like she's not there anymore.

Hi Everyone

Just got back from visiting Wie in the hospital. I like to go and visit and talk to her. I like to tell her about all the stuff on Lazlo and such. I'm sure she liked hearing about the websites DarKnyht has found.

Hannah

PS: It's kinda sad seeing her with all those tubes and things sticking out of her. They even wrapped her eyes . . . I guess the nurses got creeped out looking into the empty sockets.

Ron, don't take this the wrong way, but where was Hannah when this "attack" occured? Reviewing Hannah's posts from earlier (He's Here) it sounds like someone is targetting her, and maybe striking at her family to get her to comply with their demands.

I don't know if this is one of the attacks that I was warned of earlier, and if it is, I apologize for not mentioning anything earlier, but I was following orders.

My best to Wie and a quick recovery.

Sorry to hear about this unfortunate incident.

Though perhaps you may have to consider that she isn't there for the time being.

Hopefully she'll find her way back.

It would be a shame to lose one so active here just as others are returning to the fold.

I am glad the site I have found brought her some comfort. I will try to keep the posts going so there is something new for her to hear about.

I also hope they figure out what is going on quickly.

Got some news from the Docs today that leaves me . . .

Well I'm not quite sure how it leaves me.

Elionwy hadn't really been herself the last few weeks before this happened. She'd been acting rather odd and has been extra emmotional. She was actually scheduled to have a visit to the doctor's but she collapsed a couple of days before she could go.

Today the doctors told me the reason for that.

She's pregnant.

About 7 weeks along now actually.

The doctors told me they want to evaluate the options before they present them to me.

I haven't felt that cold in a long time.

Mr. Caliburn,

You... don't seem as happy as the occasion merits?

I suppose there are circumstances of which we are as yet unaware.

Technocrat allow me to try and hazard a guess about Ron's reaction.
First off at the present time Eilonwy seems to be in a Coma like state. Before anyone asks I doubt that her being with child at this time has anything to do with her state of health.
However, her state of health could depending on what is causeing her present state, could have as yet unknowen effects on her unborn child.
I would think then, that Ron is very worried about both Eilonwy, and the child, and he has a right to be.

Wow...congrats Ron.

Has anyone thought about taking a walk through Ellie's head and seeing what exactly is going on in there.

Looking back, I saw that Wie has demonstrated some sensitive abilities. Does she have the ability to dream walk? Hannah has been attacked in her dreams before, so I was just voicing an idea. I hope that she recovers soon.

Here's what the docs discussed with me today.

They don't know what the cause of Wie's condition is, but right now is the worst possible time for her to be pregnant because the pregancy puts a stress on her body. The longer the pregnancy goes on, the worse that stress is to become.

In short, they don't think Wie can survive a pregnancy in her current state.

Being the presumptive father, they are asking my permission to end the pregnancy.

Leaving aside the fact that situations like this are exactly why I decided to cast aside my mother's ironclad pro-life views and instead have an official "no comment" stance on the subject of abortion...

Has anyone considered the possibility that this might be related to Hannah's problem? If these things think you owe them a child (regardless of where they would have gotten such a despicable idea), what reason do we have to assume that one child isn't as good as another to them?

Damn that is a hell of a choice to have to make.
As for Robin's Idea. It seemed that Hannah was the one focused on for that deal. But that doesn't mean Robin couldn't be on to something. So couldn't hurt to look into the idea.

Well I'd like to know where they got the idea I owed them a child since I made no such deal.

At least according to legends some beings/creatures have a very strange idea of what forms an agreement.

I don't think there are many creatures, even of the most alien mindset, who would mistake what I do in their pressence for any sort of negotiation.

The negotiation might not have been in the waking world. Legends speak of the gods visiting mortals in dreams, sometimes not even appearing as themselves but as friends or family members. Perhaps the creature that you unknowingly made a deal with appeared in that fashion.

You could have been talking about taking care of your old dog in the dream/vision but to the being/creature you were agreeing to deal with what you now face.

Mr. Caliburn, please pass along my well wishes to Miss Solstice, may she get well and make a speedy recovery so you don't have to make such a hard decision. Have faith Mr. Caliburn and I am sure things will work out. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Unless I am mistaken, Mr. Caliburn.

Certain Jedi might consider what you do a form of negotiation.

Just very aggressive negotiation.

Once again, before any important descinsions are made, I think someone should go into Ellie's mind and find out what is wrong.

Hi Everyone,

I miss having her at home. I still go visit her every day.

I really hope her and my little brother or sister can come home soon.

Hannah

PS: I wish she could have told us what was happening. That would have made it easier to help her.

She'll come home Hannah.

Hell, she came back from the dead. If you can do that, anything is possible.

You just need to hold onto hope.

Hi Ghost.

I'd rather hold on to Wie's hand.

Hannah

PS: I'm glad you had a chance to do some thinking about yourself. I think you should like the person you are now, as long as he's a good one.

I remember Pastor Greed claimed to be a psychic healer. Are there any others?

DarKnyht wrote:You could have been talking about taking care of your old dog in the dream/vision but to the being/creature you were agreeing to deal with what you now face.

That is some baby-backed bullshit. If an alien knocked on my door claiming I owed him something because of a dream -- damn. I'd hit that sucka so hard he'd better catch a cab back to my doorstep, 'cause it'd be too far to walk.

Update.

She wilggled her toes today. It's a sign that her brain and her body are still talking to each other. It means that recovery is still possible.

I never thought something so small would bring me so much joy.

Wiggling her toes is a good sign, right?

_____She wiggled her toes?! Yay! That’s good news, right, Mr. Ron? She’ll get better, right, Mr. Ron? I sure hope so. She was very nice to me. And she was nice to other people, too. She wants to come back, I’m sure. After all, she loves you guys. Please tell Hannah and Eilonwy that I’ll be praying for them. I hope that helps. Thanks.
_____P.S. I think that lady is getting closer.
