Hello all, Luckly i just found this site, the infomation is invaluable. I used to belive that I was alone in fighting these things and then over time I met a few others. In fact due to the nature of my job i move alot and just recently arrived in Detroit, during a massive thunderstorm no less. I was just wondering if any one could help me out and give me a low down on the things i may come across in the Motor City. Thanks all.

You are not alone there . . .

Here’s the first website I came across on “Motor City.” Maybe you’d like to check out the Detroit Historical Museum, too?

I’m sorry I couldn’t be of much help, mrsinman. While my brothers adored cars, I was never one to care. But even then, you’re not alone in the city, sir. While I don’t know if any have connections to the Lazlo Society, you might want to check the local Ghost Hunters of the area.

If your packing any ammunition of an "unusual" nature, try to stay out of police custody. The agent that works the area hates hunters as much as he hates the nasties.

Other than that, the area near Big Muscamoot Bay on the lake has had a few sightings of a "sea monster", no hostile contacts or local panic so not my sort of problem. Rondeau Provincial Park has been mentioned in a few reports that got filed, unverifiable reports that a group of Loup Garou has always used the area as a hunting ground, unverified due to the issue of the border along with firearms regulations.

As Solstice pointed out detroit also has many very old buildings, some of wich are of occult signifigance.

I slaughtered a nest of cultists last time I was in the Motor City.

thanks all, unfortunatly i have to avoid Rondeau, it being in canada in all, i find that travel to other countries in my line of work is best avoided, and as for the specialised ammo, what are they looking for? just firearms or "other" things?

It is the "other things" as you put it that will get the local agent's attention, and he goes after hunters with the same zeal most of us reserve for the nasties. Pistols, knives, pipes, those would resolve at teh local police level. Clips of silver bullets, vials of holy water, cold iron blades, those are the kind of things local law enforcement regularly files DR1313's on - which is how he would become aware of your presence. As long as the police don't create a file on you, he won't pay attention - he's a lazy bastard, just the kind the beurocrats like.

i think that i just came across the local agent, or some other summer time suit wearing blank face, does he represent the lazlo agency or are their other unique groups out here?
and does any one know what has four eyes and slightly orange blood? thanks again

Lazlo folks tend to be weird in the kooky sense, not the creepy sense. So if you had a blank faced suit wearing type, probably a government agent or worse.

About 6'3, skinny as a rail, caucasian male, looks like he hasn't seen the sun in about 5 years, packs a slimline 9mm on the right ankle, a USP under the left arm?

If so, that would be Agent Parks, if he was in the field they have a lot of work on their plate. Parks has always been a pencil pushing ass, but some of the men on his tacresp team are decent folks.

Be careful . . .

Four eyes and orange blood? That sounds like a bad joke . . . I’ll keep my ears to the ground. Be careful, Mrsinman.

No, but I think I saw something like that once in a Ripley's museum. :)

Any other identifying features or details?

Let me give it a shot.

Q: What's got four eyes and orange blood?

A: I don't know but it's crawling up your leg!

PS: Don't all laugh at once now.

thanks but the suit i saw was a rather large man, ans as for the four eyed thing it ran after it got shot, so no other real details, but thanks for the help.
one last question, how hard would it be to trap an otherworldly creature?

An “otherworldly” creature . . . that covers a lot of ground

An “otherworldly” creature, you say? That’s a very broad term. Would it be corporeal, incorporeal? Is it the four-eyed creature you saw that you plan on trying to capture?
