My contacts from around home have managed to send me some news.
The compound has suffered a disaster, or rather four disasters on the same day.
A freak storm set upon the compound last month. The wind destroyed many of the buildings and the hail flattened the crops. Lightning strikes set fire to the barn and the lake swelled and over flowed and inundated the camp. The sodden earth churned and collapsed soem fo the underground shelters and forced more than a few of the coffins in the grave yard up to the surface.
Lots of injuries, no word on who or if any died.
