Do ya'll help strangers?

Um.... don't know if I'm in the right place or not, or if ya'll will even pay me the time of day. But I have a friend, I think ya'll know 'im, his name is Micheal and, well, he's acting really weird.

I haven't known him a long time, or anything, but he showed up at my place needing some help after about getting his back side roasted a couple of weeks ago, not too long after helping me get my place properly protected (my "fledgling" attempts just weren't going to cut it in his opinion).

Well, we got him all recovered and everything, but I haven't seen or heard from him since he left outta here.

Anyone know if he's alright?
If you see him could you let him know I could use his input on a couple of situations around here?

And, since I had to join up, and all, to be able to ask this... Do ya' mind if I poke around the place and read ya'll's stuff? From what I saw with Micheal I could really do with learning a LOT more.....

Thanx
Joi

To answer the question of your subject line, a lot of what we do is help strangers, Joi. What region are you in? That alone can help us determine how quickly we may be able to send some help, and who that will be able to go.

This wouldn't happen to be Micheal T. would it?

I have a bad feeling that is exactly who is being talked about.

Why? What's going on? Is there anything I can do? Is he in trouble?

And we're outside of Boyd (Texas), Razor, but I don't think we need anyone out this way, I just wanted to ask him about a couple of things and I'm getting that funny feeling in the pit of my stomach so I figured I come find this place, he said I would be getting to know ya'll and probably start working with some of ya'll eventually..... I'm just worried about him, I hate it when my stomach gets the flip flops when I think about someone.

What kinds of questions do you have? We have a number of people who may be qualified to answer them.

As for how Michael's doing... He was here at my house a few nights ago, in IL. I don't know what happened to him afterwards.

You know, he was acting weird at the BBQ. I tried to talk to him, but he sort of brushed me off.

He seemed out of it in general that weekend.

More and more, I wish I'd gone to the BBQ... Acting strange? Out of it? In what ways?

KonThaak, I just wanted to ask him about some creepy crawlies we found on property the other night, we squished 'em so it's no big hurry or any emergency, just he said I'd be able to get ahold of him anytime I needed to.

Sounds like he's acting even weirder now than when I saw him last...

I hope he's ok...

worried,
Joi

I'm in Amarillo. If need be, I can be there in short order, like hours. It's easier to get across Texas for me, than it is to get across the US. Cheaper airfare too.

Joi, to be honest, I'm worried about Michael, too... Haven't heard from him in a few days...

Can you describe the creepies y'all squished?

I don't know how to live through this hell
Woken up, I'm still locked in this shell
Frozen soul, frozen down to the core
Break the ice, I can't take anymore

Freezing
Can't move at all
Screaming
Can't hear my call
I am dying to live
Cry out
I'm trapped under ice

Crystallized, as I lay here and rest
Eyes of glass stare directly at death
From deep sleep I have broken away
No one knows, no one hears what I say

Scream from my soul
Fate, mystified
Hell, forever more

No release from my cryonic state
What is this? I've been stricken by fate
Wrapped up tight, cannot move, can't break free
Hand of doom has a tight grip on me

Micheal! I'm so sorry if your mace's talking to me about her upset you, just get better, please. And you know you have a place to rest, or whatever, here.

KonThaak, yeah, the creepies, uh.. to be honest they looked like someone dropped her hair weave and it started crawlin' around on it's own.

They drove the dog bananas, and the cat wouldn't even go outside.

All told they were about a foot long, had faces that were like an ugly version of a moray eel, and the things actually seemed to use all that hair to move around with. Like I said, they looked like a possessed weave, or maybe a horse tail flogger/fly swatter. Really weird. I wish I could have gotten some photos but they were some of the spookies that like to turn into goo when ya' get 'em really dead.... sorry. I was going to jar one to show Micheal, but when the one went gooey I decided that it might be a good idea to go ahead and goo-ify they other one. Just another thing out here in the real world that my teacher apparently forgot to cover.

starting to get a bit upset,
Joi

Guess I might as well ask this right out. What's being done for Michael? I don't mean this in a derogatory sense. I mean it in the sense that we need to coordinate our efforts and make sure that we don't have too many on one front and not enough on the back.

Someone said something to me in PM, so I have called the circle together and we are going to use somethings that he left here to try to locate him tonight.

I don't think we have enough between us to bring him here, 'specially if he's not wanting to be here right now, and we aren't going to even try that, but hopefully we can at least find out where he is.

I guess, as long as my looking for him doesn't piss him off (yikes), I'll let ya'll know what happens as soon as I can.

If this doesn't work I will have reached the point of admitting that I need assistance, I had really hoped to get to meet ya'll under much better circumstances.

Well, that's what we're doing here, at least.

preparing to be exhausted,
Joi

Burrowers! ... glad you got rid of them

I encountered something that sounds like - crawled out of a good friend's skull and tried to crawl into mine.

What are burrowers?

_____What are burrowers? They sound like cute little moles. Or tiny men dressed in brown. Like leprechauns.

Think Cousin It from the Adams Family, except a foot tall, but not bi-pedal. Just hair, lots of it, but with a very nasty little head, like the satanic version of Pac-Man, I think.

I don’t know the Adams family.

_____I don’t know the Adams family, Razor. Are they nice? Were they at the barbeque? I wish I had seen them. I wish I could help you, Joi. But I promised Ethan and Maggie that I would help them.

It's The Addams Family. Two D's. It's an old cartoon about wealthy monsters and
undead living the American Dream. If these burrowers are not bipedal, presumably
they don't drive cars like Cousin Itt does. It's quite funny except for the humanization of
monsters is potentially dangerous for the wrong audience.

Sorry, my bad.
Also try The Addams Family movies.

The Addams Family could be wrong for any audience of any age, depending on how their mind works and how uptight they are.

Especially the ones apt to believe in monsters under their beds
and spooks in their closets.

lol, under the bed. Funny. The only spook in the closet is my friend Coty, and he came out of the closet a few years back.

It's called metaphor.

Oh no, I got it, believe me.

I just find your skepticism humorous.

Though, I will say this, I am something of a skeptic myself. I don't blindly believe [i]everything[i] mind you, but when you've seen some things, and have the scars to prove it, it does tend to open up the mind a bit to possibilites.

Stay out of Michael's downfall Joi and you might survive. Other wise you and your little cult will fall as well.

Stay out of this? You have got to be kidding.... Them's fightin' words around here.

I'm glad we got the gremlins taken care of when we did, because there is no way I am staying out of it this time.

So... ya' got the balls to back up that threat? We're all still in one place after gremlin huntin'.... bring it on, we'll be waitin'.... Heck, I'll even light a bonfire so ya' can find us.

Anyone up for a party at my place? Good food, good people, and, if the guest of honor doesn't get a case of cold feet, a bit of improv entertainment, ta' boot. Just bring clothes for the hot weather.
