Might have found my man...

Y'all remember that Raphael fella, now? (Not you, Shadowstalker, the other one)

I think I mighta found him. People've been talking on the streets 'bout a guy that wears a big coat and hat wandering around the schools' garbage dumpsters. The local mortician was just arrested for fraud. Something 'bout stashing the dead bodies in a basement and giving loved ones unmixed cement powder instead of cremated ashes.

Says it was cheaper that way.

But I'm not so sure. Keep you posted.

Will do.

Caliburn, you seem pretty smooth with this tracking sort of thing.

Any advice on how to snag some one tha tgoes through the sewers like a rat, hops fences like addicts on the run, feels comfortable mosing around in a garbage bin, feeds off who knows what?

Not sure if this thing's human or what, but all the hobboes are afraid of him and all the whores stay away from him.

I pride myself on being a decent runner, and this guy... didn't seem so fast, but I lost him after a few streets. Biggest lead I have after losing the fella are drunk eyewitnesses that claim all the above and personal half gilmpsed look at the guy: in a trench and hat. Couldn't see nothing of his face, so I'm guessing he's hiding sumthin.'

My suggestion is find out what it wants/needs/is after and stake it out there.

Also try to narrow down the area of sightings, a thorough search might lead some results.

I have some good news and I have some bad news.

The good news is I think I have a bead on what this guy wants.

The bad news is it's corpses. Dead, rotting corpses.

So . . . find where there are lost of them around and sooner or later he'll walk into your lap.

I've got as many morgues in the area covered as I could.

The ones I don't I'll be watching closely.

How fresh does it like 'em? Graveyards might be what you need.

Don't know. Fresh bodies have been stolen, rotting corpses have been taken.

Whatever this guy is, he's crafty, I'll tell ya that.

He's slipped through a dragnet that woulda stumped Houdini.

We're looking into secret passages.

Where's this going on?

We think we've pinned it down to a certain cemetery in L.A.

We should talk. I still have some contacts there, as well as some unanswered questions.

Bert's still in LA, if he's recovered he'd be good to bring along.

Good news and bad news on this "man" you are tracking. From the sounds of it, its a ghoul or ghul depending on where you are from. They prefer semi-rotted coprses, but can go for fresh. They ususally avoid the living, but if they get hungery, they will kill and consume a person. Reason it probably got away, they are quite capable of squeezing into narrow slots, I.E. storm drains. Be careful, not just because of its supernatural nature, but think of its eating habits, thing is a walking bio-hazard. Good luck.

Thanks for the heads up, Shaman.
