The Ontario Job

Alright, I bet some of you are probably a little curious as to what went down a few weekends ago when Pendragon and I had our meeting at KT's place. The fact that both of us are still alive, and not trading threats, should say alot.

The meeting was actually pretty civil. KT really didn't need to moderate at all. I laid my evidence out (the missing eye was self-evident), Pendragon looked it over and, after a long while, decided it was genuine. (Thanks to Shadow for his written testimony, and his help in gathering said evidence).

Even after this though, Pendragon was still a little wary. Thats when I dropped my final piece of info, and what had taken me the longest to track down, a safe house in Ontario that belonged to David Hawk. A number of rumors, and one Sensitive, had named that location as the base where some of Hawk's North American operatives rested after their missions. Rumor had it that the one who had been impersonating me was there, but with one catch:he would be gone in 36 hrs.

Soon enough, Pendraon and I were on a flight to Ontario and all the confusion you could shake a stick at.

I'm glad that Pendragon's efforts paid off.

I'm looking forward to the details of what happened in Canada.

Yeah, to say the least I was a tad bit cautious of working with, much less meeting with GS. I had a plan to blow the house just in case. Fortunately though I didnt need it.

So after I met with GS and KT, I decided that GS brought enough evidence to warrant some further investigation. Off to Ontario (via private flight, had to bring my toys).

Me and Gs discussed some scenarios and methods of infiltration of said "facility". I have to say GS had some good ideas.

Figuring that someone might of been impersonating GS, I placed on him a special transponder on him. It gives a specific frequency. This way if me and GS got out of eye-sight and i got ambushed (which I expected), I would know if it was him or not.

I will let Gs describe the facility and his part of the infiltration next.

Transponders are a good idea.

Would have been good if you could have checked on the folk at Rave's Roost too.

Though I wouldn't advise it withut silver ammunition.

After our arrival in Ontario, we did a quick recon of the facility before we went in.

Before it had been bought by Thanatos Industries (A front company for the Obertine Brotherhood), this had been just an abandoned warhouse. After Hawk's lackeys had bought it, they had left the outside in disrepair (cover), but had fixed up the inside with all the amenities a resting agent of Darkness would need after a hard day working towards the apocalypse. (No, i'm not being funny).

There were no outside guards, but that didn't preclude there being guards on the inside of the place.

Shit, got to go kill someone, I'll describe my entrance later.

Should I be worried by this statement?

You just got done saying give him the benefit of the doubt.

What's going on?

Killed a vampire before it could let other parties know about what I had got out of it. No big deal.

Oop, missed seeing that one. Yes, I did just get done saying give him the benefit of the doubt. There were two possibilities at that point -
A) He was going after someone who needed killing
B) He was going after someone innocent.

Yeah, I'd just said we could discredit B, but in the case of A, anyone who needs killing is often dangerous, and therefore something can go wrong in the attempt thereof.

Nonetheless, either case warrants concern.

Pendragon and I pretty much went in the front door. One of my mystic flashbangs, followed up by a regular one from Pendragon, cleared the entrance...of several stray dogs and a couple rats. We found absolutely no guards in the entreance way. Needless to say, everyone's suspicion meters went off the scale at that point.

We proceeded down the first hallway we came across until we came to junction. Down one hall, the building remianed the same. Old and decerpit. Down another hallway stretched recent renovations and repairs.

Pendragon and I had just agreed to head down the more repaired hall (doubtless, he wanted to keep an eye on me) when something flew down from a grate in the cieling. It was small, round and...a grenade. I dove down one hallway, as Pendragon dove down the other.
