You know, HE'S the one who gets paid to tell the difference, not me. I've never exactly studied that stuff, so how the hell should I tell the difference. So he was a psychiatrist, that doesn't really change what he did, does it?

And Shad, I thought Rose was busy helping out J, why would she travel up here just to discuss my issues?

GhostSpider wrote:I'd just like to say one thing, you don't see a psychologist for psych help. You see a psychiatrist.

Maybe YOU would... My personal experience with psychiatrists is that they're medicine-happy. According to them, ain't no problem that can't be solved by some magic pill or other. I get tired of it, as the human mind is far more complex than they seem to think it is.

The only difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist is that a psychiatrist went to school for a few more years purely to practice medicine and learn about chemicals that are "safe" to be put into our systems. If I ever need to take my kid to any kind of shrink, I'll take 'em to a counsellor/psychologist first, and if that person says my kid needs medicine, THEN I'll take him to a psychiatrist.

Just because they're an MD doesn't mean I trust them more.

Unfortunatly true KT.
Angel Shadow wanted you to get in touch with me to see if I could find out anything about the person doing your evaluation.
Also I could ask you about some of the questions they may be asking, and get a clue as to where they could be going with your situation?
I don't need to be there to help.
Oh James is getting better.

KT just has not met the right psychiatrist.

Glad James is doing better.

Well, he hasn't referred to me as a murderous slut anymore, so I'm gonna say, YIPPEE!

Rose, I don't know the guy, so don't start any in-depth background checks, ok? And he was just asking me things about me, what I like kind of things. It didn't do any harm to tell the guy my favorite kind of ice cream. (for those interested, Resse's Cup sundaes at Friendly's)

And I didn't tell him anything stupid, I kept the freaky things out. Nothing about Will, or anything like that. I may have said something about monsters, though, but he was totally cool about it. He asked where I was last year, I said "I don't know". Still have a problem?

GS, it's an old song we used to sing together. He was the coolest brother growing up. I was listening to college radio in fifth grade, thanks to him.

SHEESH, all right, I'll try to remember.

I think it's vanilla ice cream, mixed with chocolate and peanut butter sauces, topped with broken pieces of Reese's peanut butter cups. Whipped cream and cherry, optional.

Hey, Kolya, when you're done, if you have time, feel free to swing by IL, too. I'll treat you to some "frozen custard" from the local Culver's. It's kinda like soft-serve ice cream, only creamier, and tastes better.

Some times of the year, I think they have chocolate and peanut butter shakes, but I'm not sure of that...

Frullati's has an awesome peanut butter and chocolate smoothie, though.
