That sounds like something a contact of mine used to say, I wish I had taken teh time to listen more and know him better.

I am guessing that would have been Shang Li? I to wish that I had taken the time to get to know him better.

Indeed, he always knew just what to say to me to take my mind away from terrible places when it wandered to them.

Once again your ignorance amazes me Holister. Have you even seen War Games? Karlash has little in common with the computer from that movie. Though I do think it would be an interesting discussion: The difference between self aware A.I's and rune weapons.
Anyway, as I said previously, only the weak willed or cursed are driven mad by their weapons. Probably why we shouldn't give you one Holister.

A low blow, GS, but in your case, perhaps not entirely unwarrented. So, I think today's as good a day as any to make several inquiries. Rune weapons, I've heard several mention that their immortal souls are fused with their weapons when they die. Is this the case with all rune weapons?

Yeah Logos, its the defining attribute of a Rune weapon. Otherwise it would just be another. albeit powerful, magical weapon.
And perhaps it was a low blow, but i'm tired of them ragging on Karlash. He is my partner and friend. I always stick up for my friends. Always.

True. It's still.. tough to get used to thinking of something that is normally inanimate as being sentient. You can keep eternity within a weapon to yourself, the thought of giving up paradise doesn't particularly appeal to me. I would think such a fate might be painfully boring. I think Zack probably agrees with me. Don't go looking for rune weapons for us to "bond" with any time soon.
It's admirable though, that you're such a strong friend. If that's what you want for eternity, I think you should be left alone to do it without commentary.

Well, it's not like i'll be alone. There are over 900 other wielders in there.
And it's not like I wanted to give up heaven. I didn't find out about that until many months after I had bonded with Karlash.
Don't worry, I would never try to talk, or force, someone into bonding with a rune weapon.

Azreal wasn't the only one who got duped into a confrontation with Celeste.

Yeah Khavik has a real talent for playing games.
As for the bit about Rune weapons bonding and fuseing with the souls of their wielders? I am not so sure of that. Some retain the memories of their users but that is it. The only souls that they absorb are the one used to empower them in the first place and sometimes the souls of those that the weapon slays. At least that is what I have found on the reseach I did?

A game player? You say he is good at it? Perhaps I can match wits and will against him? All I need is one of the games to get involved in, and I am always up for a challenge.

You don't want to have anything to do with Khavik.

Why is that? Will he try to do me physical harm? If so i will have to be cautious and patient then.

He will hurt you in every sense of the word. And your family. And your friends. And people who look like or are named the same as they and you. And pit you against other good people. And inflict such mental, physical, and spiritual tortures that death would be a release.
The only thing he didn't do was shit in someone's chocolate ice cream and probably not for a lack of trying.

Ahh, sounds like a worthy opponent, very thorough - you simply must let me know when his next game begins.

What would make you think that? I do hope you are not making the mistake that so many do and underestemating me because of my sex.

It has nothing to do with your sex.
To answer your question. Your style is very refreshing.

Khavik plays games with only one prize - power and only one wager - death.
He's apaprently been winning these games for a few centuries at the momment.
