That's the tricky part . . . often times in this buisness folks just disappear.

They are still being listed as missing according to my LA source, which is usually spot on accurate.

Alright; They are either dead, or they quit to get on with some resemblance of a normal life. Deal with it already.
Holister, you are a fool if you believe that someone who has experienced what we have can go back to leading a "normal" life. There can be no going back. Perhaps if your head was out of your ass, you would see that.

I dunno, guys... I think I'm doing a fairly decent job of juggling both...
And to be honest, I'm kinda thinking of just leaving my phone number with some folks, and logging off for a while. Not yet; there's a lotta stuff going down right now, far too much for me to log off for the moment... But sometime in the future, when things are calmed down, just dropping out of sight for a while, leaving my contact info with some folks.
If I can do it, certainly others could, too...
Maybe Debunker got tired of "debunking" all our "bunk", never did find a paranormal incident or creature he couldn't come up with some explanation for, got bored with it all, and went home, taking his ball with him. I very strongly believe Willie's fine, as he did say he was going to be busy for the better part of half a year, at least, training new folks in Asia.
Ben could probably go back to leading a fairly normal life if he chose, just as I could. The only thing would be, we'd have to deal with it from time to time as it affected our daily lives.
There are some of us, I know, who would find it difficult to do, for one reason or another, but it is a possibility.
I'm not saying I'd leave for good, and I most certainly will stay in contact, and will be there when I'm needed...but I'm 25, I have a wife, a job, and a 7-month-old who's cut his first two teeth. I need to be here for them every bit as much as I need to be out there for them.

Maybe i'm just jealous KT. I can't settle in any area for more than 2 weeks without Karlash acting like a supernatural beacon. I have to stay on the move.
Still, my point is this, when you're eyes have been opened to the supernatural, you can't just close them again.

If Hannah wasn't old enough to take care of herself, I'm not sure I could deal with the double life.
But I can't go to a normal life . . . whatever that is . . . not untl I'm sure I've done what I need to do.

For some of us this is a normal life. It's the only one I've ever known.

I am a warrior. I hope to die fighting.
There is Wyoming but I really do not want it to come to that.

Koyla, I hope you die of old age surrounded by grandchildren and great grandchildren who you have reared on stories of your vanquished enemies.

Did I upset you, too?
Just joking.
Thanks, Ron.

You know, this is my first time reading this thread?
I suppose for you old timers (is five years really that 'old'?) it's nostalgic. And it certainly seems to be a loss that many have fallen to the wayside for whatever reason.
Debunker reminds me of Sebastian. I wonder if we would have gotten along in a similar fashion?
Reading Huntress' posts in other threads almost made me want to reveal that I was really a woman right from day one. Almost. I think we might have gotten along. Or else been at each others throats.
Yes, some fall by the wayside.
And still others arrive and take up the fight.
Some of us just need longer than others to find our proper niche.
