I'm sorry, Kolya, but you had been somewhat less than agreeable with Angel, though it seems to have worked itself out, now...

An innocent person is willing to subject themselves to effective lie detectors in order to affirm innocence. I was merely offering an effective lie detector test so that Angel could affirm her innocence. I don't think that's being disagreeable.

Sorry, but I'm not really sure if I trust some guy that eats people and sounds like an extra from "Deliverance". I don't mean that in a bad way, but...
Hell, at this point, I'll try anything. Just keep him from basting me.

He did not know he was eating humans. It was Skeeter that cooked them up. Scotty and company thought they were eating those feral hogs Scotty killed on a hunting trip.
You underestimate Scotty's intelligence and intentions. Just so you know.

All right, all right.
SCOTTY: I would formally like to apologize for any undue comments I may have made about you. I was wrong, and should have gotten to know you better. That being said- go easy on me?

I have PM'd Scotty (again).

Problem: Most lie detectors can be fooled. In my experience, this includes the intelligent ones.
Potential Solution: Find a way around it. According to my runes, she wasn't responsible, doesn't know who is responsible, and wasn't anywhere remotely near her father the night it happened... I'm getting some odd responses for the question, "Who killed Susan's father?" I'll get back to y'all once I figure out what they're trying to tell me...

I was only half serious at the start about Scotty. But having him grinning in a dark corner might get the result we're looking for. Furthermore, it takes a lot of training an dpractice to defeat a polygraph.
Any leads on who might have murdered her father?

All current technological lie detection can be fooled with proper training, do magical methods have the same drawbacks of relying on nervous response?

Not in my experience, although wearing down the pysche expedites the process.

Only those that resist, Angel.
The ones that have something to hide.

Yeah, I know I'm not exactly Marilyn VosSavant, but whatever mind I have, I'd prefer to keep. If it's safe for the truthful, I'll do it. Otherwise, I'd better hear more info from good ol' CSI:Chicago after they're done investigating.

If it will help somehow, we can talk the specifics.
However, it would not have any legal weight whatsoever.

Kolya Sometimes your attempts at humor, fall very short, and flat.
No I am going to be trying a deep scan of Angels memories. I already know that she has not lied to me, but maybe I can help her get a better idea of where she was when her Father was killed.

Last check I had, polygraphs are not admissible as evidence in a court of law - too foolable.
In the meantime she's placed herself in a police interrogation room. . .

No I didn't think it was kinky - I think it's also a good way to misalign your sights or have your weapon taken from you.
