I was going to post the same thing today. Almost as bad as the story of the swimming pool that was stolen without spilling the water a couple of weeks ago.
Koyla, any thoughts on this?

Smells like bullshit to me.

That something so huge can go missing? It's happened before.

Proof - Russian criminals will go after anything . . . or the government will put up that front.

No Angel.
That that thing was actually part of what happened.

I will say this- whoever took it must have been REEEEALLY good to steal something that freaking huge.

Not in Russia

It was probably a team not unlike Kolya's and the government is putting up a fake theft story so they can conduct some sort of experiment on the rock.
Let's hope nothing hatches from it.

Things from (outer) space that hatch are 9 times out of 10 very bad news.
Posted: Tue Aug 14, 2007 11:31 am
by Ron Caliburn
The remaining occurance is usually even worse.

There is still disagreement if it was from space and whether it was a comet or a meteorite.
Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 12:08 am
by Ron Caliburn
Well, where else could it have come from?
Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 12:17 am
by duamerthrax
probably a lab, just to screw with people.
Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 12:46 am
by Natasha
From space? It could have been a vehicle.
Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 12:46 am
by Kolya
If from space at all, of course.
Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 1:05 am
by Natasha
Well it still could have been a missile from space, even if it started from Earth.

Before WW1? I knew the chinese had an advanced society . . . but I doubt they were lobbing IRBMs into Siberia in the early 1900s.
Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 1:06 pm
by Kolya
There are some that believe it was not the Chinese but an alien missile launched from an alien submarine in the Pacific.
Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 7:17 pm
by Ron Caliburn
Why the Pacific? Why not Lake Erie?
Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 7:19 pm
by Kolya
I never thought of that question. Could have been though.

Makes about as much sense.

Sense is not a reasonable measure though.
