Well I will figure it out one of these days.

You've obviously never watched wrestling on tv, right?
Posted: Wed Jul 11, 2007 1:45 pm
by Kolya
Never. I have seen a few episodes of the A-Team on late night Russian television though.

All right, take the special effects from that, add strange plotlines, then have two guys fighting in a square, roped-off ring, and that's pretty much professional wrestling.

So they all have really stupid nicknames, too?
Posted: Wed Jul 11, 2007 1:57 pm
by concrete_Angel
That depends. Would you consider "The Boogeyman" or "Legend Killer" stupid?
Did I just answer my own question?

by Kolya
Yes.
Yes.

I got some wrestling at the chase tapes from Scotty.

Gator or Hog?

It's professional dudes wrestling each other.
Eric Von Eric and those guys..

So gators?

Probably.
I miss Steve Irwin.

Me too. He was a good man.

True.
But I still remember seeing him talking about how dangerous scorpions are while jamming a large stick into their nest.

I think the cryptozological world needs a Steve Irwin type.

It used to have some interesting personalities.

Yes, but we need a new acceptable public face.

It depends on who he takes it from.

It was a Russian who was a founding member of one of those international societies. Although he was never really well known outside zoological circles, seems.

There was some secret meetings Moscow between American and Soviet cryptozoologists in the 1960s as I recall. Have to look it. Rather, have to have someone look it up for me.

There was. Maybe I can dig up some info, although they are not secret anymore, so a public search probably turns up something.

American crytozoologists in Moscow... in the 60s...

Not as public as I thought. There really is not a lot about this. It was called The Soviet Snowman Commission.

Whatever group it is, we need someone to step up and convince the public.

Yea, from what I gather they were skeptical about the paranormal stuff. Of course, it is easy to be. There is practically never a corpse to examine.

Which is why I wish I could lug a camera with me.

Yea, but the skeptics got an answer for everything.

Worst case scenario, we sell some really realistic looking horror films.
