You leave her alone!

Touch her again in any way, and you won't live to regret it.

You know Shadow, I think we're all agreed that dym is a dead man, so why bother threatning him with it. We should think more on method of death, and length of time it takes for him to die.

Fine gut him, slit his throat, scalp him, then throw what is left to the Void. I have some more creative ideas for the Gentleman, and Voice. J. Dork is Logos' project, and I believe Robin has plans For Dele Morte.
Any questions or requests?

Hey, hey, hey Shadow, I'm gathering an army for the Gentleman. Leave that one to the ladies, just from my time with your crew, I tink we can come up with some very creative ways to skin this cat.
Kor, you've gotta stop telling cliches...

Remeber most of my people have a L.E.O. background. So they all have a low opinon of men like Slob.

Oh, I know. I just want the last thing this guy sees to be female ingenuity. We'll make it painful, for Mr. Caliburn, and everyone else he's hurt.

Ron Caliburn preferred it quick, but slow. From all I know of him.

For the record I like things done right - being fancy often gets in the way.

Definitely. There've been a lot of times that I've been fighting for my life, and if I'd've been doing anything fancy, I'd be dead, now...

I tend to be anything but fancy. Brutal, Violent, and Underhanded but never fancy.

I'm not level-headed enough in a fight to be terribly underhanded. >_<; Efficient, either, as Ron can attest, having seen me go berserk on a bunch of ghouls.
It worked, though. It's the only time I've ever seen a mundane weapon (my claymore) do a helluvalot of damage to the undead suckers.

She only pretends to be ambiguous.

Don't sell yourself short Josh.
You just need to rehearse the nasty stuff so you can use it without thinking about it.

Yeah, I studied martial arts for years when I was growing up.
You saw the results of *that*. A lot of screaming and wildly swinging a broadsword-style claymore.
Thanks yet again for making sure my ass came out of there alive.

Yeah, it took quite a few beatings at the hands of the Stone Man before Karlash's lessons finally got through. All knowledge in the world will not help you if you do not have the discipline to go with it. That applies greatly to both martial arts and swordsmanship.

I dunno, a claymore requires a certain ammount of wild swinging - the mommentum is a real bear.

Hey, as long as its disciplined wild-swinging, than I got no problem with it.

Yeah, even my broadsword-style "mini" claymore doesn't swing terribly easy... It's also surgical steel-grade metal, which means two things:
1) It will hold a sharp edge for the rest of Julian's natural life; and
2) If I hit it against anything as hard or harder than it is, it will shatter like glass.
One upside, one downside... Things balance out.
Though I'm thinking from now on, when I can't take Claw into a fight, I'll bring my scimitar, instead...

Ahh, scimitars. Compared to your average claymore, a scimitar is actually better suited for wild swinging.

You need a far more flexible steel in a blade.

by KonThaak
Yeah, but the never-dull edge is quite nice, sometimes...
Still, y'all're right.

Which is why you also need the hardened steel.
The best swords combined more than one form of steel to make for the best combinaiton of hard blade edge and flexible blade body possible.

You can get by quite well with regular old tool steel if you don't mind sharpening it. Get a high quality machete and you're ready to roll.

I once fought a machete wielding cultist. That SOB was damn good with it too. I got more than a few scars from that one.

Ouch. So you can speak from personal experience.

On the plus side, Machettes have almost no lateral strength - force applided perpendicular to the blade will break 'em really easy.

Thanks. I'll remember that, in case I ever come up against a machete-wielding lunatic/maniac/cultist. XD

I didn't think of that. I just let him overextend himself, and then "disarmed" him. Well, more like "disappendaged" him.
