There are those for whom that is the only answer, and they are the bulk of what we deal with, but there are others who do not, fall to the darkness.
For some this means they are looking for a cure, for other's this means they are not our enemies at least, and other's who are in fact allies.
But those are the exceptions, not the rule.
To find the darkness you have walk in the shadows.

Everithing I've read about it states that the whole "human flesh" thing you're SO eager to point out occurs when in the altered form. Which implies that *as a human*, a werewolf isn't about to go hog-wild in your local nursery school anytime soon. If you can prevent the change, why not do it, instead of the "everything must die" mentality?

It's not everything must die, it's everything can die.

Me, I neutralize threats to innocent human life. If there's a critter that considers us food, I want to get rid of it.

Ron, technically Hannah "can" die, and you don't exactly see anyone here lining up to do it, do you?

Something that can die doesn't mean it always should. I think there's been a few stories around here where the "neutralize threats" policy ended badly for all involved.

Ron's respect for human life is stronger than his respect for monster life.

But he's not blinded by it.

Rember Angel, Ron has dispatched a few vampires and is the one who is first to call for it's destruction. Yet on the word of a few people he trusted he never attempted to destory Celeste, even when the chance presented it's self. I agree on some monsters that there is no need to even give it a moment to relize it's dead. Some I am more inclined to wait and see, if it crosses a line it goes up in smoke and flame.

Mike, I really don't remember being around for that one. Nice story, though. And I agree with you on the rest.

I don't go out to kill, I go out to save lives. I'm not a firefighter nor a doctor, no would I ever be good at either of those possessions.

I know how to kill, and sometimes to save a life you have to take a life.

So I go out after what needs to die to save innocent lives because it's the way I can help people.

Celeste, as much as I thought she was a threat, was repeatedly vouched for by people I trusted, so while I was wary and watched for any signs that she was not what they claimed, I accepted their words.

In the end I had to kill her . . . but not because she was a monster.

My good side is my ability to get the job done in the face of adversity.

My bad side is what the job is.
