Well, Hannah has some odd powers at least, we know that for sure. If you combine that with all the "The one that made it can destroy it" talk it adds up pretty cleanly.

You might want to do some reasearch on Tulpas. The monks of tibet have long believed that given enough focused attention, a thought can become manifest physicly, and eventually take on a life of it's own. They fo however, know ways of dealing with such, and "unbuilding" them.

Master Li spoke of that on at least one occasion if I am not mistaken.

It was actually one of the topics that I worked with Mr. Li on when I was studying the possibilities. All of the local temples pointed him out as being the most knowledgeable man they knew of in the country for the subject matter, and at the time I could not fit a trip to Tibet into my research budget.

On at least one occasion that I know of he made a, err, doppleganger of himself.

An exact duplicate? Or a portion of his thoughts and emotions given it's own form?

Well Ron, I have a suggestion on containing, if not outright destroying, Not You.

As you know I've been documenting the wierd stuff that's been happening to me lately. One of those things is knowledge popping into my head that is not mine. A great deal of that knowledge has dealt with circle magic. Several circles in particular, I think, could hold the key to defeating Not You.

There is a problem however. I'd need Hannah's help. As the one who created him, she has a link with him. If she summoned him using one of my circles, he would be unable to resist. Once caught within a circle, he would be powerless and trapped. We could find a way to deal with him then.

Like I said, this is only a suggestion.

Yes, most definetely. I can make the circle, all she would have to do would be to speak the power words with conviction. And somehow, I don't think that will be a problem for Hannah.

First off, there is no evidence i'm getting coached by any evil entities. The knowledge just pops into my head.

Second, the summoning ritual for a spirit is clean, no sacrifices or anything. I could do it myself, but with Hannah's help we're guaranteed success.

Hannah guarantees success because she has a strong mystic link with Not You. She brought him into this world through an act of her will. Having her summon him would be like knowing his True Name, he just couldn't resist her summon.

It doesn't work like that Ron.

Still, if your that worried, I could try it myself, but I don't know enough about Not You to have a great chance at success. Now if you were to give me your True Name...but you wouldn't go for that either.

If it would make you feel any better, I could make a protection ward for Hannah. Diabolism is something that I have learned myself.

Which goes back to the original argument. "How do you know its a protection ward?"

Because it's knowledge I learned, before the ritual at the warehouse. Hell, I've got books and notes on it.
