Yeah, but in order for KT's world to happen you first have to get the parents to actually be involved with their kids. Especially in inner cities where there is normally one barely educated mother working their tail off just to barely get by.

I just call it as it is. If people are going to take the responsibility of raising a child, then it's their responsibility to fix their own lifestyle to adjust for that responsibility.

Otherwise, they don't truly deserve that child, and that child deserves better.

It may sound harsh, but if you're going to spend all your waking life "providing" for the child, and not spending time with it, then you're not doing them or yourself any good...

I don't disagree, but just state it as a sad fact of our culture.
