This was a challenge to say the least. To infiltrate the foundation I had to find some parts of me that I'd been trying to leave behind. Some of them, I thought that with the love of my wife and daughters i thought I had finally gotten past.
For a couple of months I was everything that anyone here has ever called me. Ruthless, bloodthirsty, arrogant, hard, cruel, bigoted . . . whatever labels you've applied in the past, I spent 2 months earning them all over again.
It's unfortunate that we were unable to reunite the vast majority of the girls with their families, but through our intervention, they did not suffer a far worse fate and it is likely they will recover enough to lead relatively normal lives. I've made arrangements to keep track of them and their progress.
