Can't say that I have. I just didn't think she'd have learned it back home and I didn't know if anyone would think to explain it to her

It's one of those things that's kinda hard to miss, even if you're living under a rock, which she isn't...

I had to explain it.

Or rather I had to tell her to go to Wikipedia . . . I can't say I fully understand it either.

Hehe, no disrespect intended, I was just surprised when she mentioned Santa.

There's a long history involved behind Santa Nikklaus...but if you're going to Wiki, you're pry getting it already.

Whenever she isn't doing her homework, or reading here, she's on Wikipedia - she wants to learn everything there I think.

Sweet! In a few years, we'll have a walking encyclopedia with us. ^_^

A walking encyclopedia that we'll never be sure if she's right or not

She seems to understand the problems inherent in Wikipedia, but she also knows how much she has to learn and how little time she has to do it, so she's willing to take the wrong with the good for now.

She does doublecheck a lot of stuff still.

Hi Bert,

Wiki has a bit of everything I need to know - and a lot of everything I don't. It's fun to look around it and learn . . . but there is so much there and so much of it is opinion. Once I learnmore I'll start helping correct stuff . . . but for now it's my best friend at finding stuff out.

Hannah

PS: You should look at the article on turtles :).

Does anyone know how to shoot someone the bird in a post?

Nice description though, if a little pompous.
:D

What is shooting the bird mean?

Putting up your middle finger.

"You got a license to fly that bird."

PS: Santa is watchin'
I'm reminded of two events:

1. Galina.
Kolya: "But Galina it's Christmas."
Galina: "I don't care, I still hate you."

2. Svetlana (son was born in San Francisco).
Svetlana: "You're old enough to go to Santa's village." (in Lapland)
Son: "Why go so far? We just saw him at the mall."

That's a great story. Galya makes me laugh.

Is anything being done about Dr. Lazlo’s disappearance?

My employer once had a copy of Worlds Within Worlds—first edition, too—unfortunately, it was stolen before I could read or study it.

I’ve run into the same problems that DroopyDawg ran into in my search by internet.

Why is this? Is something being actively done to cover Dr. Lazlo? Are we doing something to find him?

Dr. Lazlo's groundbreaking work into this field has provided a foundation for my own research into Therians. I am saddened that he was taken from us long before I had the chance to encounter the man.
