I remember when Dirt was first invented.

Before that we only had a bunch of rocks!

Mr. KonThaak, are we feeling a little insecure about our age there. I said it to Mr. Turtle and you were the first to take offence. By the way was it a big bang or evolution?

Hey, I'd say I'm a little entitled to be a little insecure about my age... I'm 26, I'm married, I'm a father, I'm locked into a job until I retire, and I tend to find people 5-15 years older than me (or more) to be far more interesting conversationalists than kids my own age.

And just FYI, it was both. First the Big Bang spat out monkeys on a rock, and from there, it evolved into something that made even less sense. And we liked it!

 At least you still have a sense of humor about your age.

Um, are you saying that I am not interesting to talk to? :(

First dirt is not that old, second KT you are a kid in comparison. In less than a week I'll be 39, and I am surounded by young people daily compared to my self, well since my mentor's passing. So all you whelps can calm down and let the old fart get some sleep.

I think Mr. Greydawn is older. I think he is in his mid 40's or so.

Gramps? Just rember Soph we will be meeting soon. I may ask Greydawn to test you myself to see what you've learned. Yeah Angel I am probably one of, if not the oldest members on the board now that Master Li is no longer with us. I some times think I am getting too old for this stuff as well, then someone messes with my family, or my student and I have to prove I am not too old yet to put them in thier place.

GS, you're not too old for me to smack, pal!

Soph, first, you're not the youngest around here, so just wait til Hannah starts the Depends comments on you. Second, next time you try to make a crack about a woman's age, prepare for the worst. "Hell hath no fury", after all.

Soph: I didn't mean to imply that you're boring... I made a generalization, and like my ex is fond of saying, "All generalizations are false, including this one".

And I may not be the oldest here, but I feel like I'm growing old way before my time. How many 26-year-olds does anyone here know who are married, have at least one kid, and have had to lean on a cane already at some point or other in their life? =P

In your line of work I would have to say several have had to lean on a cane or crutches way to often. I know several people in the mundane world that would envy you for your family and many younger than yourself.

Well folks, I've arrived at Michael's. There was quite the party going on when I teleported in.

I arrived outside Michael's place (nice house, by the way), and almost instantly heard the sounds of battle coming from inside the house. I rushed in (sorry about the door Michael), and almost immediately found the disturbance. Michael was pinned down in his library by what looked to be, originally, a dozen of those mages. Three were already down, dead or incapitated I didn't know, but nine more were still standing. Michael looked to be pretty beat up. I was still sore from my throw down with Maynard, but that didn't stop me from jumping right in.

None of them noticed me until I cleaved the one nearest the door in half. Two of them turned toward me and started incanting spells. One of them didn't get even get his out, as I quickly sprinted over and ran Karlash into his chest, pinning his heart to his spinal column. The other finished his spell, but it was low level and bounced right off me. I sent a force blast that threw him against the wall. Michael took advantage of my interruption to drop two more. One with that Rune mace of his, and another with a spell that left a burning crater in his chest. That left only four more. These must have been the less stupid ones, cause they quickly ran for the nearest exit.

Michael, perhaps you would like me on-site to look over the security measures as well as the information network?

I am fairly certain I could come up with a few things that even "magic" users would find concerning.

I think I may accept that offer Kei, I am at wits end with these pups. I have to thank Ghost, if he had not come in when he had I may not have been able to post this now. The brats came in right after dinner, I was resting in the library reading through a tome on the scrolls that the brats have. I got a split second warning when Skullcrusher appeared in my hand followed by a blast of heat from a near hit by a flame bolt.
I exhausted my spell energy and the couple of talismans I was wearing in a matter of moments, I held enough energy back for a good blast if needed to get myself in the clear. I almost blasted Ghost when he came in and got close to me before I relized who he was, Skullcrusher warned me he was a friendly. Damned mace is still giving me grief for not takeing all of the brats down faster alone. I think sometimes that mace forgets what time and where she is.

I am catalougeing the damage to the library and the tomes that didn't survive all the flame hurled. Luckily I have quite a few wards in place to help prevent damage to the tomes.

Mr. Michael, if you can get me a list of the tomes you lost I can see if Mr. Greydawn has copies of them and see if he will allow me to make copies to replace yours.

Mr. Michael T, I would be glad to talk with you and yes you may test young Soph for his gramps comment.

I look forward to sitting down with you and discussing things and looking over the Items you spoke of plus having you look at a few I have collected over time.

If you need you can use my library to see if I have anything you don't and perhaps we could help complete each others.
