I plan on being out and about Thursday - Solstice patrols and what not.

Thats fine as I would have only been able to spare a couple of hours, and I get the feeling that would be only enough time to scratch the surface of the issue.

Hard to believe the Summer Solstice is already practically on us... I should get back to sleep, since it's 2AM, and I wanna have the energy to harvest as much energy from that day as possible...

Anyone else get a mental picture of KT going "Hey Lex! Is this all the containers we have? Where's the big tupperware?" And then stuffing every container full of glowing energy.

Wasn't there a cartoon back in the 80s with giant robots doing just that?

I never watched that show (Transformers), and I still remember that. o.o

You are not the only one.

Sad enough, I must admit that I was quite the fan of the show growing up. It was the best of everything, Fighter jets, cars, and giant robots. What more could a 8 year old want?

Transformers? What are those?

Hannah

PS: KT, most animals don't hae all that much to say . . . it's all "My Tree" and "My Mate" and "My Children." and "Don't Eat Me" and such.

 Sounds about right.
Transformers? That is a long story I think.

It's stuff that transforms into other stuff. Hence the name. I think the main good guy changed into a gorilla, and all the bad guys were dinosaurs, or something.

I send my 'father' the most expensive bottle of Georgian (the republic not the US state) wine that I can find. Or at least I send it to someone.

He sends me a photograph taken on Father's Day morning of the house where I grew up. At least someone does.

I heard he died four years ago.

Oh well.

Hmm Bert may still be inclined to try and knock you around some Sasha, but I don't know if he will really try?

Hi Everyone!

That's grat news. I'll go tell Pa and Eilonwy that the Russians are comming.

Hannah

PS: I doubt Bert would kill Sasha . . . hurt him sure, but kill him? No.

Devochka, I suggest wording it different than "the Russians are comming" when you tell your Pa; we do not want any CW residuals triggering a knee jerk reaction plan. ;)

I think Ron grew up in the Cold War. He didn't fight in it.

Actually I did fight it after a fashion . . . we expected you guys to charge over the hills and swarm into the compound and were prepared as such.

I was practicing combat readiness drills for that situation from the time I was 8 until I lefdt the compound about 14 years later.
