Nakamura went solo on some personal quest of hers and got nabbed. Now we have to save her from this {yet another} flavor of the week bad guy.
They should change the name of this site to The Villains Unlimited Society or something just as lame.
Now do you see why we need better communications and intel sharing around here. To prvent crap like this from happening.
Here we have another prime example of a villain that could have been exterminated quickly and efficiently but we ignored it and it has crawled out from under its rock to say BOO!
Azrael and myself are already tied up in investigating Tony's disappearance, so if some of you can get your act together and go off this piece of shit calling himself "The Gentleman", it would be much obliged.
The moment he popped up the wheels were in motion. Kei, if you haven't read elsewhere, help is on the way. You'll finally get to see something you asked about firsthand.

Did we ever let Ben in on this?

To my awareness no. Even when I was looking for him, I wasn't supposed to let him know he was being backed up, and if he saw me we had a cover story for why I was alive. The Gentleman was going to say that My body faded to mist after I fell, leaving an opening to explain things if needed.

For the record, I felt like a fool sleeping on a cot away from home while your girls babysat Hannah - but I had to keep the facade going just in case.

You and me both Ron. I don't like watching the action pass me by.
Yes, I agree. You both are...erm, were fools.

Ya know GS, seeing how your hangover is now suddenly, surprisingly mortal, perhap you should take up sports like skydiving and bungee jumping and such . . . make him feel a few brushes with death . . . get his juices pumping.

Hmmm, I have always wanted to try surfing.

Hey, as long as you're learning new sports, take up SCUBA diving! It's not as thrill-inducing as the others mentioned, but dammit, I need a dive partner. >.> And as long as Ben sent me the equipment, I might as well put it to good use, rather than letting it go to waste in my garage...

Oooh, SCUBA diving does sound like alot of fun too KT.

It is. ^_^ Though for me, the first breath I took underwater was the most difficult breath I've ever taken in my life.
I had the regulator in my mouth, but my body could feel I was completely submerged, so it took everything I had to force air down into my lungs... I think my subconscious was terrified of drowning if I inhaled.

Sounds kind of like the first time I teleported with my artifact.

Hehe... Well, I'm not a certified instructor, but it's something you could/should look into when you get back State-side. ^_^ Kind of an expensive hobby, though... Equipment will definitely hurt the bank account.

Hey, no one said that cult busting was a poor paying job. Just the opposite in fact.

That's why Koralth and I are looking into becoming full time hunters. I mean, what we've been involved in so far hasn't been lucrative for us at all... Just the opposite, in fact.

It all depends on the cults you hit.

Yeah, that's pry one of the reasons I like being settled down... I don't have to worry about stuff like that.

Never going to happen for me i'm afraid. What with Karlash's curse and all.
Ahh, who wants to settle down anyway. I still suffer from wanderlust, and probably always will.

Be careful there Ghost, life has a tendancy to do things we never planned for.

There are degerees of settled - there are reasons I am focused on the DC area right now, but I'd hardly call what kept me here so long somethign that settled me.

Yeah, the shit we deal with does tend to be a bit unsettling to most...
Fortunately, I'm either rather well-balanced, or so far off-balanced, that it doesn't seem to stop me from trying to continue doing the things I love... I'm not sure which, though, and that kinda scares me.

I would find it difficult to believe that anyone in Washington, D.C. could feel settled.
