If anyone can pull it iff, it'll be Hannah. But if she tries she's gonna need all the help she can get.

Hi Bert,

thanks for the vote of confidence.

Hannah

PS: I wish I could help Natasha.

I have a strong feeling that's the kind of battle she needs to win on her own.

Hi Bert,

It wouldn't hurt to cheer her up a little.

Hannah

PS: You obviously are a turtle because you carry your home with you wherever you go. I don't think I've heard fo you being at your house more than a week since I met you.

The kid has a point Bert, just invest in a trailer or an RV for goodness sake.

You're right Hannah. I need to cheer up!

As soon as she's feeling up to it I'm taking Natasha out to dinner!

And, yes, I do live out of my car a lot more than I should. Although I do have a home or three in most States...

Where do you get your funding for all of this stuff, Bert? Vacation homes, caches of weapons, etc. etc. Where's it all come from?? :?

Real estate. I took my settlement from the gov't and invested it in real estate. I have significant holdings under various names and identities and the money gets filtered to me through various untraceable means.

Sound investing strategy Bert, but, I don't trust banks, stocks, or any of that crap. I like to keep my wealth close at hand in several hidden safes.

Most of the cults I've busted over the years thought the same thing Holister. Their generous donations have helped keep me in business. :D

Well, Ben, they aren't making anymore land hehe. And I tend to turn my computerized 0's and 1's into hard assets pretty quickly.

Wait - there's more!

New Zealander's ear problem proves mite noisy nightmare wrote:AUCKLAND (AFP) - A New Zealand man is now sleeping peacefully after years of living with an infestation of mites in his ear finally came to an end.

Paul Balvert's "noisy nightmare" went undiagnosed for two years before it was discovered by a nurse at a specialist clinic.

"For years I had no idea what was wrong," a relieved Balvert told the New Zealand Herald.

"I had been hearing continual bubble and squeak noises in my ears and it was worse at night. Sometimes I would get up in the morning and think I would be lucky if I had got any sleep.

"And there was movement. That was the worst -- the itch. Many times during the day and night I would stick my fingers and cotton buds in my ears to try and relieve the itch. It was unreachable."

His doctor twice flushed his ears with water, but he got no relief.

Balvert eventually went to see a specialist. Nurse Theresa O'Leary said she was amazed to see "very active, tiny, bulbous, semi-transparent mites moving around in a moist layer and white eggs present all over the canal and eardrum.

"There were about a hundred of them. It was a well-stocked breeding ground," she said.

Doctors used suction to remove all visible mites and eggs from Balvert's ear, but hidden eggs soon hatched and his problem resurfaced.

Balvert was eventually cured when microbiologist Chris Mansell recommended soaking the ear in a liquid used for scabies and head lice.

Balvert, who owns a chicken shed-cleaning business, believes the mites entered his ear one day when a chicken feed pan was emptied over his head.

What Bert you are worried?

Shadow, for a lot of us, this is the kind of stuff that nightmares are made of.

We can take down demons and monsters, we can stop cults... We can wield magics, or utilize more of our minds than most, or know more about and be capable of using modern weapons than most anyone else.

What we can't do (most of us, anyway) is sleep with our fingers stuffed in our ears.

Bert, hi,

We covered this already. You are not paranoid. Your behaviour continues to be the concern.

Ron, stop feeding his contrived delusion.

If it's a contrived delusion, how can I feed it?

Kalle, Bert here admitted to putting claymore mines in his yard. He has weapons caches strewn about the world. He has several homes that he can use interchangably just in case. He doesn't go anywhere without a gun on his person.

He may be right most of the time, but I think that's mostly because he's usually off hunting the supernatural, not the other way around.

Well now I'm going to have The Gentleman coming after me! I got one of those cards too! So now who's paranoid?!

You too, Bert? I've GOT to get this J Dork situation finished.

As soon as we have a location I am ready to go and deal with him. This time demons and gargoyles will not force a retreat, Logos I'll deal with any paranormal guards he may have you and the others get J Dork. Just be careful and as quick as you can with out getting careless or slopy, I may still need some help depending on what we find guarding him.

Dusk PM me and if you would let me know what spells you have for defense and offense, I may be able to augment your list.

We know already that his biggest defences were provided by Bass and company. His sponsors have dropped their involvement, so I'm hoping that he won't be nearly as heavily guarded this time.

I would rather come with a magic nuke and not need it that leave it and have to pull out again. One thing I have learned in myu life time is to all ways expect the heaviest resistance from demons and thier ilk.
