That you are Mr. Turtle.
Sophoroto we are going to have a long talk about this when I get there. I have told you not to experiment with the astral unless Myself or Mr. Phillip are there.

Mr. Turtle I would love to take your training courses next year. Wanted to this year but Mr. Greydawn said I need to learn to controll the mystical arts better first.

Probably true. We can't have you accidentally blowing things up. That's my job

I thought the object was not to blow anything up accidentally, only on purpose and in a controlled manor.

That is true. The trick is to make it look like an accident. You avoid all sorts of questions that way.

Greydawn is correct. Next time maybe would not go as well.
I think I just said something Natasha would say word-for-word.
Anyway, good luck with your personal development. Listen to the mentors and veterans, they will keep you alive.

Secretly, very impressive work throwing a fireball into a hut full of gasoline.

Yes Sophoroto is good when it comes to fire but the boat house was hardly a hut.
This is going to come out of your allowance, you know that don't you Sophoroto?

Yes sir, I know.

I could almost here a "sorry Dad" there.
Bert a good motto for you would be "Accidentally, on purpose".

Well he is the closest thing to a dad I have had for about 9 months now. He was a close friend of my parents.
They were killed in a car wreck and he took me in. It was their wishes that he take over raising me in the event of their death.

I come home from investigating the disapperance of a family in Colorado to find that the boat house was not just blown up but completely destroyed the only thing left of it was the footings and one piling. Needless to say the animals were rather upset having been so close to the structure when it blew.

Like I always say, "I can always get worse than it is." I never said it was comforting.
Good luck rebuilding..... Sounds like you got a young energetic labourer available for the job though.

Mr. Turtle don't encourage him till he is old enough to take your traing course unless you want him to come live with you while he is learning.

I wonder if Mr. Turtle would be willing to help as well since he seems to want to train Sophoroto with explosives?

Personally I think you should make the kid rebuild it himself without any magical augmentation.

Bert is very helpful. He almost gave a Balkar woman a heart attack because of his is helpfulness...

Are you being paternal or sadistic?

Can't it be both?

If he had the carpentry skills I would but unfortunately he is about as useful with hand and power tools as I am with firearms.

Well, I guess.
Here is how I cut it up: paternal is more caring and nurturing while sadistic is pure pain for the sake of pain.

Sounds like he'll be awhile at it then. He should at least do something to help with the reconstruction. It doesn't take too much skill to learn to use a chopsaw. He can cut wood to length.

Definitely paternal.
Pussy.

He is helping with the reconstruction plus he is paying Mr. Frankland's bill as well. That and he gets to clean the cougar's and dogs pens fo a month.

Yea, get that boy to work.
And, Bert, go easy, he just had a fireball and a shit-ton of gas to work with. Leaving that little bit standing, not so bad.
Purely academically speaking, of course...

Sounds like I have two volunteers to work on the boat house Mr. Sasha
