Another trick for Kyuuketsuki, they may not need to breathe to live, but they need to pass air over their vocal cords to talk. A fine dusting of powdered silver would mos likely be unpleasant. Or a fine mist of holy water to be inhaled - burn from the inside out.
UV lights may not hurt them per say, but I have noticed they find full spectrum lighting unpleasant on their eyes. I belive it may have something to do with the larger number of cones in the retina causing them to be far more sensative tto certain wavelengths. I would have more data on this, but I am not a hunter, and kyuuketsuki that I would trust to not try to have me for a snack in the middle of an experiment that is probably painfull to them are rare indeed.

The Paint Ball guns my team and I use have been tweeked majorly and are able to do full auto as well, so as Ron said they won't put a vamp down but they will ruin its night and make things easier for a proper take down.
Bert you are weird but we knew that.

To find the darkness you have walk in the shadows.

Actually the tech guys tweeked them for the best effects. Also the pellets we use are not standard, so up shot not as often as you may think and mostly only when doing full auto that is why I tend to only use semi auto mode myself. So at worst we get 1 in 30 at worst that bursts before leaveing the Barrel more often it is only 1 out of 50, Odds I can deal with and no big deal to just keep shooting normally.

But if you tinker you can crank the muzzle velocity quite a bit.
A lot of police departments use the markers for training, so I have some experience servicing and modifying them.
Can you crank them up very much without destroying the balls?

I suppose I should read to the end before posting....
Perhaps. If you use a more resilliant compount, or thicker compound, the balls are less prone to breakage - but the former reduces muzzle velocity and the latter reduces usable load. Both make it harder for the balls to break on impact.
It all reqires some carefull calculation.

Without breaking them? That is matrix type stuff.
No, no, you break them. But if you take them on the Glove or Shield, what's the damage? "Oh no! I got my cowhide glove wet! Its ruined!"

Funny thing is, I've never encountered one that takes that kind of protections.
I have a few theories about why.
First is arrogance. They sincrely beleive themselves indestructable and pay no heed to their frailties.
Second is appearance. It is one thing to be vulnerable, it is another thing to broadcast that vulnerability. Besides, they like to blend in with humans.
Third, and this one I am way out on, but I think they like being exposed. They are feral creatures at heart, and the freedom of running unfetered is too tempting for them.
Whatever the reason, I sincrely hope they don't get over it.
