Wasn't planning to.
Don't even desire to.
Just remembering a t-shirt I saw once.

I'd rather be red than dead, I have to admit.

Marx: Hey! I've got a great idea! We'll all throw down the pigs at the top, instate a temporary government, and we'll all live as equals!
Society: YAY! ...except you ignored our old lower class, and put people into power who won't give it up. DAMN YOU, MARX!!!
Everyone all the world over: Shit, communism must be a bad thing!
Max Weber: Actually, the idea was good. He just screwed up a few things. Here, I fixed it!
World: WE DON'T WANNA HEAR IT! STFU and GTFO!

Communism is not a bad idea at all. In fact it is a wonderful way for a small group to work. The problem is that it doesn’t readily take in to account for the human ego. So when the group gets large enough then the largest ego usually winds up at the top of the heap, and the government shifts toward a more cumbersome form of government than a commune.
Heck, America even proves that Democracy has issues when the group gets too big.
We may have to come up with a different governmental structure to survive in the future.
Makes you wonder, if there are entities out there with the goal of ensuring mankind fails to come together.

Communism might work on a large scale; how would we know? It's never been tried on a large scale.
Although I suspect it won't for the reasons Droopy mentioned.

Many, many things.
It's weird, but for the first time, I'm actualyl starting to look forward to Christmas.
Ei's been after me not to patroll on Christmas Eve, and it's tempting . . . but I wouldn't feel right.

Interesting that Comet Tuttle will be it's Brightest on Christmas Eve; here I was hoping that 5 January 2008 was going to be boring...

That's alright. Nothing's scheduled in the sky on the 6th that I'm aware of. So if I weren't an athiest I could still celebrate Christmas just fine I guess.
