Well, ideally someone who is going to search for a fair and just resolution without further bloodshed. Preferably they should have a neutral point of view and not specific interest in helping or harming either side.
Of course all the parties will need to agree to it.

The difficulty of the task, as I see it is not to avoid bloodshed, but rather in convincing both sides that talking is worthwhile.

An interesting suggestion. I'll have to discuss it with the other concerned parties. It is possible that your neutrality may be called into question however. Especially given your relationship with Celeste. Even so, there may be some way your wisdom can be tapped for this.

I will help all those I can, and can help safeguard both parties against physical harm from the other.
If you find that you have erred in letting a being live, you can correct that mistake.
If you find that you have erred and killed a friend, can you correct that mistake?
