Miss Solstice, your return delights me, I do not know why, but your words often sooth the confusion I oft feel, or at the very least make it seem more bearable a burden.
My new computer has the software to do both

I admit this confuses me. I thought that software for the blind was voice related? I get that a keyboard could be graille but how would that allow you to 'feel' another persons voice?
My new computer has the software to recognize my voice, true, and read back to me other’s responses; but I’ve always been more comfortable typing out my replies and reading other’s rather than relying on a computer’s simulated voice.
There are two sections to my computer; one is a set of tiny buds that raise and lower as I scroll down, translating what would show on a monitor for a regular computer into Braille for me to read. The other is a set of eight keys, which I use to type out my response in Braille, which is then translated into its English alphabet equivalent.
Does that make sense? Sorry if my ‘poetic license’ was confusing, Daichan.

Your poetic liscense wasn't to blame, my lack of familiarity with the technology was.
