Every time I've picked up a gun without the intent to fire it immediately, every time I've checked the safety, I remember that damned blank.
Thanks, more than I can ever fully say.

Caliburn, you got an estimate for a date and cost for the 1st model?

Cost isn't going to be too bad, time is another matter - gas systems are always touchy if not built just right.

Just got the invoice Caliburn, you forgot a couple line items on the billing.
I noticed the lack of a Consultation fee, a lack of teh setup cost for the machining of the parts, as well as a complete absence of any form of billing for your time.
If the numbers I penciled in for those items is not adequate, please inform me of the going rate for those items.
Only 2 reasons I bring this up - 1. a competent gunsmith willing to do custom peices is hard to find. 2. it comes out of my anual petty cash allotment for "misc. operating expenses" from the beancounters that set our budget.
Oh, and Caliburn, keep an eye out for any National Security Bureau operatives or their remains in the barrens, a DR 1313 was filed over a final radio comunication from a team in the area, I believe they may have stumbled onto some of your prey. If you run across any evidence of them please contact me promptly. I understand that we work at cross purposes on many things Caliburn, but at least we agree that the nasties need dealt with before they hurt people.

Perhaps those are a part of his discounts Caliburn offers to lazlo members.

We do agree on that one point at least.
