I haven't read the entire rest of this thread after I saw this post, but I wanted to clarify: I was afraid we'd run her off as well...but I got into contact with her, with Kolya's help, and she was quick to assure me that my message to her got her to thinking, and she decided she needed to prioritize things in her life. She and Kolya both insisted we didn't run her off, that she left of her own will. This implies she could be back someday, if she chooses (if she hasn't started posting already)...

Again, I'm sorry if this has already been dealt with. I haven't read the entire thread; I just wanted to make absolutely sure this was covered before I forgot...

Just a few additional notes... I respect Kalle, a lot. She's opinionated, but we all pretty much are. Her opinions differed from ours. She had serious doubts about Konrad, and quite frankly, I can't say they were groundless. They were rational doubts. We don't have all the answers to her questions regarding him. I do rather wish she had been far less confrontational in expressing her doubts, but it can't be helped now... That's just the way she is.

About this thread... It's called "A Message for Ben" because someone who thinks they are Celeste has been on and off... She's watching us. I don't know--maybe she's what's left of Celeste. Maybe the vampire Ron killed wasn't actually Celeste. There's a lot of maybes...but the point is, she thinks she's real, and part of her anger and pain is over Eilonwy's existence, and another part of her anger and pain is that noone here believes she's the real thing.

How do I know this? I PM'ed her...and I got a response. She didn't say all of this to me...but Gabriel read her emotions enough to know she believes herself to be Celeste, and I believe I knew her well enough to deduce the rest from there...

Celeste, if/when you see this, please say something.

What if in the creation of Ellie, her vampiric existence as Celeste wasn't cleansed, but simply seperated from her instead? Eerie, but it could explain what is going on.

Kalle was opinionated yes, and everyone has a right to their opinion, everyone has a right to express their opinion. However, there is also a right to some modicum of peace as this is supposed to be a peaceful forum among peers and individuals. Nearly everything Kalle said was inflammatory, and in some cases fairly rude. If I see her again, it will be too soon, unless some things change.

As for this.. Celeste, whether she's the real deal, wannabe, or something new, such as a seperated and seperate entity, then that poses some real questions that I would like to see dealt with. And this also poses the question that if this is a seperate entity but a remainder of Celeste Darken, what does that say for our effencientcy at dealing with Supernatural Threats? How many other jobs are left un-done because we assumed we had finished things off properly? This really does beg the question. How many times have we seen 'bad guys' that we swore up and down were dead come back over and over?

Food for thought.

Regarding Kalle, I've said my peace. She's good at what she does, and I wish she hadn't left, but she has. She's a fellow hunter. Last I checked, there is an understood freedom of expression on the 'Net. Not everyone has to agree with our way of thinking. Not everyone has to even be polite. She was a decent human being, but GS set her off, for reasons that were covered elsewhere. As I recall, I believe you were the one that threatened her life, Razor, you and/or Thorne...so you've little ground to stand on to say that she was in the wrong for being rude.

We already know we've seen a lot of bad guys we've sworn up and down are dead come back... We've seen it time and time again. But the fact of the matter is, we don't know what's going on with Celeste. Celeste was different from other vampires. She had a soul. That she's come back as Eilonwy is proof of that. But we don't know anything about this Celeste, and--I apologize most of all to Eilonwy and Ron for saying this--we don't know much about Eilonwy herself, either.

I wanna make perfectly clear that I trust Eilonwy and Ron implicitly. I don't suspect Eilonwy of deceiving us...but it is a possibility. It is a possibility that the Celeste that has been around is, indeed, the real thing. It's a possibility that it's a psychic trickster who's playing with all of our heads, and is using their abilities to make us think they believe they're Celeste. It could be any number of things, but unless she starts talking to us, and we try to help her--cautiously, of course--WE DON'T KNOW.

I watched the sun turn her to ash in my arms.

Heck, some of that ash is still in my bloodstream - seeped into my torn up leg. So I'm walking proof that she's gone.

Yes, Ron, we know. But Celeste, here, believes herself to be Celeste. Celeste was destroyed...but she had a soul. I have heard stories of revenants who have risen again and again even after being destroyed hundreds of times. It could be that Celeste Darken is, indeed, who she says she is.

Everyone, please, calm down. We have a member hurt, scared, and confused. Give her some breathing room, please.

Celeste, Konrad asked a lot of questions in rapid-fire style... I think the most important one he asked was, "How can we help you?" I would imagine you are still a vampire, and you're not sure how you came to be here. Your intentions are probably to figure out what the hell is going on. That leaves "How can we help you", because "should we help you" is a question we'll have to face, ourselves, once we've heard the "how"...
