Data. I think part of what's encoded in the disk is simular to a spell, some form of automated casting that draws the shadow-beings through. The information we need is what all the people are looking at. Whatever it is on the monitors they are looking at is, it's probably the same as what got burned into the disks.

That's somthing uncertain, but I suspect it's getting part of it's power from the people that it kills.

I have copies of whatever it is they are looking at on tapes. I had 6 cameras running focused on the monitor, just to make sure I wouldn't miss anything. If you are going to stop this thing we are going to need more data, data that I probably have, I just dont have the right kind of talents to do anything to/with it, so I am just sitting on the data, knowing it is there, but not desperate enough to play back the feeds without some extra protection.

I normally try not to have conflicts with such things, but enjoy helping those who do.

Don't forget, electricity is a form of energy, too... The CD drive in my comp got crispified. I have a feeling if the drive weren't crap to begin with (I've been meaning to install a DVD drive I've had lying around for literally months, anyway), it would've been my entire computer, instead of just the drive...

KT sorry I missed out. Thou glad my estimations of your defenses was right. I was dealing with some issues on my end after giveing Zack and Logos a little show and tell. Not from them mind you, heck Both of them had a lot to mull over afterwards, some of the things I did to explain were things even Zack had not seen me pull before? So afterwards Athena, Rose, and I stuck around for a little bit to help them deal with that fact their veiw of the world at large just got a lot more intresting, and frightening.

If Need be I can still drop by soon Athena while not as good a healer as Gale could give some insight into Nakamura's bruises, and I would like to get a closer look at the remains of the disk if I could?

Well, either 1) He ignored our advice and watched the disk without the protections we had, and is therefore dead.

2) He listened to our advice, and is trying to get things cleared up around where he is before heading over to KT's to discuss the problem.

Well I finally found a diner (glad that i'm still in the USA, not to mention this dimension) and while I probably wierded out the customers by coming in with only my laptop and a set of golf clubs (why Karlash disguises himself as golf clubs, i'll never know), I finally found out where the hell I am. It's not all that difficult... Electricity and magic (or "PPE", or whatever) are just two different forms of energy, with different forms of conduits. Converting one into another isn't really all that terribly difficult... Psi-mechanics and a few other psychics do stuff like that all the time.
