Ron, I may have some good news for you Sunday night. Your nightmare problems might just be over.
If I am successful...I will let you know.

Well we know how that went. I just hope this thing hasn't got some new brewing in the wings.

Thanks . . . what did I think of now?
How is that going to work?

Alright.
This dream demon's name is Selene. Definately female, though she can easily appear as a male, or whatever form she wishes. She was based off a Djinn. Specifically the Djinn from the Wishmaster series. That was done for her power. Poured into her was all the hatred, malice, sadism, destructiveness of a genius that hates humanity, people, and well existence.
When she was created, think of every horror movie you've seen, and add those into her mental repitoire. She can do the freddy kruger effect, of if she injures you in the dream, it transfers to the real. BUT her speciality is psychological torture. (You can kill a man once, break him a 1000 times).
Now, to keep her from infecting the outside world she was locked away in the DreamScape, by the same guy that created her. He set it up that unless you physically, mentally, and spiritually had the proper keys, and proper energy signature you cannot get out. You can wander in, but you wont be taken out, unless you are either let go by her, or you are escorted out by someone who has the keys. Within this part of the DreamScape she has complete control of her realm, able to create entire universes, and realms, with complete reality.
Most importantly though she feeds on fear. I've gotten sucked into her world once, and well... I turned my fears around on her, and into something I enjoyed. ... Well that took all of her power over me out of her hands and basically she let me go, cuz I'm 'no fun' though I've sent her a couple people to play with.
She won't kill them, and she generally won't keep them more than a night's sleep at a time. But... with Evil Ron, I'm sure she could make an exception.
Even if he has a physical body, it would fall into a coma, and after a month be dead. If not, then his entire essence would be drawn to her realm, and I guarentee he doesn't have the keys needed.

That is quite an f'ing story there.
Sounds pretty tricky getting his ass in there though.

Sounds like they'd make a cute couple.
How the heck do you get him in there with her?
Waidaminute, you've sent people to her? Why?

And how?

I've sent a few people there, yes. I only sent enemies, who needed a lesson. Since she knows she has no power over me, I've made a one-time deal with her on most of those. Basically, she gets to scare the hell out of them, and they get taught a lesson. I get them out of my hair. Win-win situation.
How? When a person dreams their spirit and mind leaves their body, and enters the DreamScape, which is a sub-division of the Astral, really. I can walk there conciously, or in my sleep, and find them, especially if I know them or their energy signature, or can find it. Then from there, I use a little trick that my mentor taught me.
The Astral is a wildly chaotic place, bound by laws and layers of imagination, rather than physics. All I have to do, is grab them, turn around, and I am at my destination, which would be the outside edge of her realm, and I simply drag them in with me. That's doing it the hard way. If need be, I can just go to her, and give them her signature, and let her pull them in herself.

Good 'huh...' or bad 'huh...'?

or ugly 'huh'?
Just 'huh' as in "I never knew that before".
Then again, the dream plane is something I only started to learn about recently.
Interesting place.

It's friggin wierd. But it works. I'm just wondering if anybody's gonna give the 'green light' so we can do it and knock Evil Ron out of the water. We need Ron at full op capacity, even if his house and business just did get fucked.

Yea, but, honestly, I would rather see Nightmare Ron destroyed.
So long as it 'lives', anything is possible.

Well, here's the thing, we don't know if he's actually physical, incorporeal or if he can shift between both like a Tectonic.
At least this way, we can imprison him, until we figure out how to destroy him.

Sounds promising, but what prevents it from negotiating a deal with this Selene chick?
Personally, I would not mind it if she were destroyed, too.

"That which is eternal, cannot die."
She was made for thsi sort of purpose.
Though, I cant really argue with yo uthere Koyla.
As for him negotiating a deal... He -might- be able to do that. But so far, I'm the only one she's let go, other than in the instances I've made deals with her for people to be released. And even then, if she wants them back, she can pull them back. She just has more fun with the ones that have real fears and nightmares.
To me, it sounds like this Evil Ron has plenty to fear, and plenty of nightmares. Plus, he couldn't get out on his own.

I follow you. And this plan is certainly one worth considering.

It's not entirely foolproof, until he's trapped, and maybe not even then. BUT, if it can buy us some breathing room, some time, and a chance to make him go "WHAT THE HELL?!" again, keeping him firmly off balance and where we want him, that makes it better for us.

And even better if he cannot wander around making friends...

What if he takes that pendent with him though?

FUCk! I knew there was a loose end somewhere! I forgot all about that.
I -could- try to take it from him while Astral/Dream Form. I got a friend of mine who is pretty powerful and is working on pulling objects from the Astral into the physical. I could pass it over to him, considering he's living where I'm going.

I did not know he has a pendant.
What pendant?

That is pretty big could.
If we can pull him into the physical, it's game over for NR.

Soon as I'm done here in Japan, I think I'm gonna take some time to step in on the Evil Ron situation.
(Edited to add in a few words he left out.... ))

What pendant does he have?
When are you due back?
Posted: Thu Feb 22, 2007 4:33 pm

The pendant that Shadow was going to use to help Ron's sis. Apparently Asshole made a grab-n-run with it.
GRRR
Technically I'm way overdue.
But meh

Ah, that pendant. In all the flurry of activity, I missed when that happened.

Oh yeah, Hideoshi... I'm not really looking for much in the way of compensation for being over here. The only thing I'm really worried about is if we get everything back and in the hands of the right people, is there any way I may achieve some official recognition by the Japanese government, to help pull some strings with the Department of Labor so that I am not considered to be voluntarily terminated via being A.W.O.L. I'm over-extended on my leave, and am now into AWOL time.
Either that or have them graduate me out, instead. That might solve several problems.

Shadow is my expert on this, he's the one who can tell me if this might or might not work.
I get the impression though that in the DreamScape, while Shadow is pretty potent, Not Me was able to best him.
Not Me definitely can manifest in the physical as well.
