In Africa, the gazelle doesn't need to run faster than the fastest lion... He just needs to run faster than the slowest gazelle.

Thanks . . . I think . . .

I'd rather be the lion.

Hey KT, did ya know that in some species of antelope, the males hop real high when a lion attacks drawing the lion's attention, then when the lion goes after them they speed up and lead thelion away from the heard.

Neat, huh?

Hannah

PS: Sometimes the Lazlo SOciety is sorta like that - but then they turn and charge the lion.

I hadn't known that... That is interesting.

Yeah, but to catch up, you need to risk the horns.

Hannah wrote:Hi Everyone,

I suppose I should explain the thing about the cup.

I knocked it off the table when I was clearin' the dishes. It broke and threw glass everywhere.

I tried ta clean it up fast before Pa found out, but he's got good ears and was there before I finsihed cleanin' up the mess.

"Are you alright?"

I nodded and tried to look as small as I could.

"What happened?"

I flinched, knowing what would happen when I told. "I knocked the cup off the table, I'm a stupid and clumsy girl and need to be punished."

Pa looked me up and down, I waited for what would come next.

"Did you mean to knock it off the table?"

"No."

"Then it was an accident. Be more careful next time and make sure not to cut yourself cleaning up the broken glass."

I was too shocked for words. He didn't scream and yell, he didn't beat me or lock me in the closet, he didn't tell me that the Lord hates disobedient children . . . he didn't do any of the stuff other Pa did.

All I could do was just run ta hug him and cry.

My Pa is the best father in the world, even if he does hafta go away on buisness a lot he still cares for me and treats me with respect and lets me be myself.

Hannah

PS: We had a great father's daya t the Zoo too.

I miss her so much.

Heh. I'm sure he enjoyed that. Clarity's still in that "I don't know where I belong" stage.

I did enjoy that.

Whatever Not Me had her doing there, it built pretty good arm muscles in her too.

My ribs are still sore from her hug . . .

But I think it was more the Nightmare than Hannah . . . she’s been very gentle with me.

Hi Everyone,

I was doing all the chores I used to do back at the compound, milking the cows, feeding the chickens and all that. Lots of exercise.

Hannah.

PS: I think I hug Wi and Pa 20 or more itmes a day, each. It's good excercise too.
