From what I've seen of these bugs, they're only really sent after specific people. If this thing killed that girl, then she's probably one of the descendants we didn't get to in time.

I've been doing research since I got back. Her name's Glory Tuttle, she was six years old and travelling to New York with her foster parents. It says she was the only child to survive a massive fire when she was a baby, I'm betting it wasn't an accident, either. She's not having a viewing, since the body was so messed up from the attack.

I'll be pulling into Zack and Logos' area sometime today *yawns* then I need to sleep for awhile before doing anything else.

Oh, and this whole descendant thing. Descendant's of who? I've read over these posts and frankly i'm confused. If someone could please sum up whats going on here. If you're not comfortable on an open forum, then PM it to me. I'll be in the area helping Michael T, and I'd just like some background, just in case I should drop in to help you guys too.

Sorry Ghost never got around to telling you about this. I was more than a little pre occupied there for a while. Will explained some of this to Angel and I a few weeks ago.

Angel, Logos, and a few others are decendents of a group of hunters, who it seems had stopped a rather Nasty AI from entering our world a little over a hundred years ago. Will had been one of them.

They had thought that they had killed the summoner, and either destroyed or, sent the AI back to where it had come from. But in fact they only sealed it in a place between Dimensions, And the summoner was not in fact dead.
There had been seven hunters, and it seems the used an odd ritual that not only bound the AI but also bound them, and there decendents to the seal that held it. As near as anyone has been able to figure out so far, as long a one decendent lives the beast will stay bound. The beast knows this and is having his servents seeking out the decendents, so as too have them killed so he can be released.

Now for the real bad news. Not long after I got back to the states, I recieved a note. It had in it a vieled threat that Angel and others who are now under my protection would be visited soon. The Note was not signed, but I was able to see the face of the sender, and it was the same face as Angel saw as the man who killed her father.

So we need a good scetch artist to draw his face then we can look for him and take him down, right?

Yes that would stand to reason but an infant is very vulnerable and an easy target taking up valuable resources to keep it protected that could be used to hunt down the bad guys and finish them with an awesome explosion.

To be fair, think of how easy it was for Luke and Leia to hide from Darth Vader. Maybe if we let him think he's killed off all of them, then he'll be an easier target.

Ah, so maybe that's what Sasha and Angel were up to.

Ok, in all seriousness, heres some stuff I can tell you, from my own experience. Angel, if this guy is truly a servant of the AI you're ancestor locked away, it stands to reason that he knows where you are thanks to that. The AI that was bound might be able to track the descendants of its captors because the captors did something foolish. They put some of themselves into the binding and left behind a mystical connection. If the AI is smart, or talented, and the evidence is pointing to it, than it could trace those mystic connections.

So here is my advice. Find out as much about this AI as you can, and then find some way to get rid of it. Permanently this time, because otherwise, you're fucked.

Mr. Turtle I would say that is a definate yes we need to get rid of it permenatly, but until then rather than making more targets why not destroy the tool it is using to kill them. Another question would be what if it needs a sacrifice of one or more of the descendants to free it wouldn't making more of them make it easier for it to gain them?

1) As for sacrifices, it's gotten at least one already, God knows how many more it already has.

3) James is physically fine, but we're working on some issues he's had lately. I've requested he stop getting help from Rose and am trying to use a little sisterly wisdom. So, of course. step one is name-calling and noogies.

Ok Soph I think you misunderstood. The comment was that as long as one decenedent lives the AI will stay trapped. Sacraficing any of the decendents will strenghten it more, but it will not be free until all of them are dead.

Angel I will show you the note, and you know exactly who else is a t risk besides you, James, and Logos.

As for how it is tracking you and the other decendents, I think Ghost may be on to something. Oh and as for how to get rid of the AI for good... Well there has been some research that has been being done of late on the ritual that bound it in the first place. It may lead to a way to destroy the Beast as well.

Can't we just send a half a dozen nukes to wherever its imprisoned?

Nukes are not an option Bert, as there is no place too send them.

Hey, Captain Obvious, don't keep reminding me about it, all right? I know damn well what's at risk, and I know damn well what's already been taken. Don't think these things are going to be as weak as they were when you fought them, not after they've already finished off one of the seven lines. Oh, did I forget that part? Glory was the last of her line. That means whatever it is, it's stronger already.

Do not be so sure of that mr Shadowstalker.

We just do not know where yet; ask The Traveler King; if you doubt my statement; but I reccomend against nuclear devices, there are far more economical, and discresionary means to deal with said situation.

Plus, I don't want to end up looking like the Toxic Avenger.

No worries there. I am just not a fan of the idea of using nukes period.

A properly controlled nuclear device is not too much of a worry Shadowstalker, it is only the uncontrolled reaction of a nuclear device when one is not sure of the makeup of the environment that concernes me.

Think of setting off a fission device in a place where there were few if any things available to slow / inhibit the reaction, it could wind up like the whole world going "China syndrome", at least untill there was no more materiel to split.
